Jamf Pro makes deployment easy
What do you like best about the product?
Jamf allows me to deploy to many users at scale. It is easy to use, and integrates well with our office's workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can occasionally be difficult to hear back about any issues in a timely manner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows us to quickly deploy machines to users with minimal touch points. We are assured that the devices have the same software and setup on each laptop.

What do you like best about the product?
effectively manage and secure Apple devices, including inventory management, device enrollment, security policies, and application management

it doesn't not have a feature where we can connect to other platforms like windows and Linux

Jamf Pro is a comprehensive Apple device management platform designed for IT administrators to manage and secure macOS, iOS, iPadOS, and tvOS devices.

it is definetly the best MDM for Apple at the moment, with all the features and integrations available

they has been staganting a it when it comes to the MDM game. hopefully they are exciting updates that will change the game a bit.

What do you like best about the product?
I have been a Windows Desktop Engineer for 6 years before moving to the Apple world. Jamf is powerful and easy to use. It brings you many ways to manage your devices and is up to date with Apple latest releases and MDM capabilities.
The support team is always quick to react when we have inquiries.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some configuration profiles are dating and they are not easy to use / require some workaround to get what we want from them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a full remote company so Jamf helps us manage all our devices around de world.

Management of Mobile device with specific settings to be applied to mobile endpoints provides better peace of mind issuing devices

the learning curve compared to other MDM platforms. The management of the certs in general can be a headache

Deploying Jamf Pro and integrating it into existing infrastructure can take significant time and resources and steep learning curve to do it

Jamf Pro is like the air traffic controller for all your Apple devices—keeping everything in sync, secure, and ready for takeoff. Imagine juggling dozens, hundreds, or even thousands of Macs, iPads, and iPhones, each with its own unique settings, apps, and security requirements. Without Jamf Pro, that would feel like trying to pilot a plane without a dashboard.
Solid Apple MDM tool
What do you like best about the product?
That it uses Push to deliver payloads to target devices, makes management much easier to enjoy.
The support is usually very quick to respond and knowledgable.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some things, like the intune/entra integration does not work without user interaction. Lack to Platform SSO with Entra.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jamf Pro along with Jamf connect solves the issue of users having to have two separate accounts on corporate devices, that alone makes it worth the investment.
Great tool for small to large schools

Previously there was free training and a change to test your knowledge, this assisted in being able to learn how to use Jamf in our schools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Functionality to be able to re-enrol a device if ithe MDM is no longer talking to the device (iOS and macOS).

Managing devices from enrolment to pushing out apps.

Patch Management - Being unable to upgrade an application from a different version e.g 23 to 24.

Best MDM for macOS and iOS devices
What do you like best about the product?
Conditional Access, Cloud Identity Provider, Restricted Software, Configuration Profiles, Policies, Scripting and it's really the fastest MDM.
I use it daily because I am Jamf Admin.
Implementation and migration from on-prem to Cloud was really easy.
Customer Support is fast and great (they have knowledge).
Integration with Entra ID is very simple and fast.

Sometimes complexity, but you can learn everything by Jamf educations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing 564 macOS devices and 19 iOS devices.
It's solving alot of automatization, Self Service is very helpful for end-users, customer centric experience is more than advanced by using Jamf.
