What do you like best about the product?
Its an all-in-one application that helps us keep all of our mac devices up to date and manage all of the applications on the computer.

The UI could be better for sure. If you have not used Jamf previously, it can be a little too much.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

JAMF Pro for iPad Management
What do you like best about the product?
JAMF Pro has been essential for my team to manage a fleet of iPads being used in medical facilities throughout the state of Colorado. Given the senstive nature of data and the broad geographic scope of facility locations, JAMF Pro has been instrumental in being able to manage these iPads quickly and with the appropriate security requirements from various governing bodies. Setting up the server was intuitive enough that even someone without prior experience can get up and running quickly. I use JAMF Pro on a regular basis, and it fits seemlessly in our environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
While JAMF Pro has much to like, one downside is that not all functionality can be managed or controlled remotely. I know JAMF continuously updates functionality with each new release, and the company is actively engaged with the user community. Being part of the community and knowing the company takes feedback seriously helps with bringing those desired changes to reality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JAMF Pro allows me to apply a set of restrictions to our iPads that meet the standards of regulatory agencies, while giving my team the ability to manage the devices remotely and quickly.
Jamf Pro Is An Excellent Offering
What do you like best about the product?
Jamf Pro is very comprehensive, highly complex endpoint device management system. It allows a dedicated admin the ability to craft policies, configurations, settings, accounts, etc with a minimum of fuss. One of the things differentiating Jamf from other similar offerings is the Jamf binary, as it allows management of items not covered by Apple policies... essentially Jamf offers a tighter integration into the OS itself.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cloud instances are of course highly dependent upon a number of variables, and quality of service can be hugely impacted by enterprises choosing not to follow vendor guidance re: ports/protocols.
The initial ramp-up can be a bit daunting as there's a bit of a learning curve. The cloud portal could be a bit cleaner as well, as there's a lot of clicking around. Certain functions could very well be consolidated.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jamf Pro allows us to quickly onboard and managed Apple mobile devices in a primarily Windows-centric enterprise. It allows us to very, very nearly replicate the policies implemented by our AD teams, manage AD creds, auth to VPN/other corporate resources, map drives.
The Enterprise MDM Solution
What do you like best about the product?
I like the granularity of jamf pro and the fact that you can have exceptions / exclutions which lots of the other MDMs do not provide when creating systems. Jamf allows for scalability with this feature and allows for you to create a standardized config / policy then you can exclude users/hosts/groups as needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of their features dont quite work as well as other MDMs (for example any managment commands tend to take longer with jamf).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
telemetry and connectivity. Ultimately Jamf is the tool that allows us to stay safe and in control of systems.
MDM engineer
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of the product is great, making configuring within the tool a good experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not really a Jamf Pro issue but more of an Apple not allowing control of certain functions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nothing yet but it will start solving things soon
Great, even for beginners
What do you like best about the product?
It has been very easy to use for someone new to the tech field. I work with thousands of devices and its great to be able to look up anything I need on the fly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have yet to run into anything that I dislike about it. Maybe a dark mode that doesn't need switching back to system?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to find users on devices, last log ins, etc. It's helped me be a better detective when im tracking down devices.
Great way to ensure peace of mind
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to use its profiles and extensive search functionality in order to ensure our student ipads are correctly configured and manged. Also really like the interface design, its very intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing i dislike about it is how sometimes it tends to lose connection to some devices over time, and its a real pain to get it back talking to Jamf.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jamf Pro is helping us solve the problem of managing thousands of ipads and hundreds Mac devices all at once. Meaning that our staf and students can learn and do their job effectiveley without interruption.
Taking Control of your Apple Fleet with Jamf Pro
What do you like best about the product?
Jamf Pro has really helped our company customize and take complete control of the Macbooks and iPads in our fleet. The integration with Apple Business Manager makes remote device enrollment a breeze, so we can automatically add new devices to prestage enrollments as soon as we procure them. We also don't have to provide as much support to end-users during enrollment, because the majority of the process is completed for them during automated device enrollment.
Manual and tedious processes have become much easier, and Jamf provides great documentation to allow for easy implementation and customization. I'd definitely recommend Jamf Pro to any company small or large as their main resource for managing Apple devices.

What do you dislike about the product?
Something I don't like about Jamf Pro is the layout of certain resources. A lot of resources are found under the Settings tab, which can be a bit counterintuitive
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jamf Pro is helping manual processes become more automated, and in turn, saving our IT team a ton of time. We don't have to configure individual device's settings one by one anymore, and we can monitor and manage security settings all in one place.
The best but still room for improvement
What do you like best about the product?
It's head and shoulders the best MDM for Macs. Tons of customization available between packages, profiles and scripts to install exactly what you want and how you want to. Our customer service team is very responsive and is always one call away.
What do you dislike about the product?
Changes to the backend of Configuration Profiles to support new features and provide a better experience take a while to implement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ensuring Macs are secure with our security software stack and that our MSB is enforced.
Managing Macs is suddenly easier than managing Windows
What do you like best about the product?
I love the amount of customization that Jamf Pro provides, and how, once groups are established, most things just work. Ever since using Apple School Manager along with Jamf, the control we have is extremely granular, hands-off, and applies quickly. When we receive a new computer, we can have it fully set up and ready for the end user in under twenty minutes, with very little work from our techs. Being able to use custom triggers and call those triggers from another script leads to very controlled and predictable workflows. Jamf customer support is fantastic, too. They always respond quickly and teach me how to better use the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Most of my complaints about Mac management have to do with Apple, not Jamf Pro, such as how it's impossible to remotely allow screen recording for classroom computers.
For Jamf though, the only thing that bothers me is that I can't "push a script" in the same way that I can on Windows. It's a little frustrating to be on the phone with a customer and say, "I've scoped you to a policy that should fix this. Wait fifteen minutes and call me back." "It's been two hours and you still can't work? Oopsie, guess I'll head over in person." I wish there were a management command that triggered a "jamf policy" check.

Almost every aspect of Mac management is covered by Jamf Pro. Remote access and privilege elevation aren't quite there yet, but having so much control over configuration and policies is fantastic. Before Jamf, we couldn't imagine a world where managing Macs was easier than PCs, but now that's a reality. We're deploying Macs quickly and keeping a great user experience.
