Great customer support and they really listen to feature requests.

UI still needs more. I don’t like how many companies make the experience different on desktops to iPad to iphone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Supporting many devices with fewer people.

What do you like best about the product?
The software works better than our last MDM and support is great. Self service is the standard in the industry and the community surrounding JAMF is a sea of knowledge.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have had problems with some updates and have to wait for hotfixes. That is our biggest issue is that day one updates usually have issues that affect us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to manage thousands of Macs and iPads with one system. Deploying software is a breeze. We are able to do everything with only a couple employees managing it.

The product simplified as well as add robust administrative feature that it’s competitors are still behind on, while jamf is still pushing forward
What do you dislike about the product?
The only dislike I have is that the administration applications aren’t usable by our Windows’s help desk.

What do you like best about the product?
Jamf Pro empowers our employees to focus on what matters: their work. Employees receive their devices ready to go. No more setup delays or confusion on which apps to install.
What do you dislike about the product?
I only wish Jamf offered training and certification courses in additional cities. Phoenix needs love too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jamf Pro has allowed us to rapidly deploy our in-house applications to employees across the country, within minutes, and without their intervention. It’s a no-hassle solution that has reduced support requests and increased efficiency.

Newbie review

  • October 24, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like offering Self Service to our end users. Pushing out applications and updates is great as well as the inventory and wealth of information we get.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because I'm still new at this there are still a lot of hiccups and inconsistencies that we're encountering.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're a small IT group and this is a great way for us to provide "white glove" service of applications to our end users while at the same time giving our group a lot of inventory information and feedback. We have a better grasp on what we have and a better way to offer more.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take lots of notes during "jump start" - there was a lot of information crammed into a very short period of time and when it was first shown it all made sense, but when we were looking at it a month later, there was a lot that we'd forgotten.
