The only UEM for Mac management
What do you like best about the product?
Jamf is the best solution to manage Mac and iOS devices in a company. No other UEM is si focused on Apple Devices
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like scripting, but in some case I need to use it

Users itself enrollment of his Mac and iPad over the air worldwide

Very simple to use and manages well
What do you like best about the product?
I love the remote management feature of this system.
What do you dislike about the product?
I love this system. I haven't figured out how to run a report to see which iPads that have a specific app. Sometimes, I need to see if an app is installed on certain iPads without opening each iPad and checking it there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Jamf Pro to manage our education iPads.

What do you like best about the product?
I like to ease of enrolling the iPads into the management system. Setting the naming scheme, applying restrictions and deploying applications is extremely easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike not having a report feature where I can run reports to pull specific information about apps, security, updates, etc. This can be done now using Smart Groups, but that pulls devices that fit the criteria set into a group and the devices can be exported into a text file or CSV file. I would have to create a "report" from that export that is presentable to my supervisors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easier management and faster deployment of apps to several iPads simultaneously. Previously our teachers were using iTunes gift cards and the IT department was creating and managing Apple IDs for all grade levels. Eliminating the iTunes gift cards was great for the budget and helped teachers focus more on the content in the apps they requested.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The MDM is worth it. There are also so many hidden gems with JAMF that I was not aware of until I attended JNUC. You can use custom trigger policies for client device configuration, you can set up LDAP, and use JAMF APIs to create your own iOS app.

What do you like best about the product?
Remote management, enrollment, packages installation. These features are valuable because they were the most time consuming before we used an mdm.

What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface received a huge overhaul with version 10 and there are still some parts that could be improved. Some operations could be simplified but we have an on premises installation and maybe the cloud version adresses this points.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jamf greatly helped us keeping the IT/support team from growing as the company doubled its headcount.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider the cloud version, managing a local install can be more work than it looks, especially if you have to manage devices in multiple countries/areas.
Great Mac management product
What do you like best about the product?
I believe it is the best Mac/iOS management product available. They offer zero-day support for new MacOS and iOS releases and the DEP/VPP integration is great!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the patch management was a bit more fleshed out. I trust it will begin to be in the next year or two.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We utilize jamf pro for MacOS/iOS inventory, software management, compliance and setup.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use JamfNation! The community is one of the best parts about jamf. People are willing to share how they are using the product and are great resources. Take the time to plan out your policies/profiles. You can save a lot of time by thinking through how to utilize these features best.

Being able to deploy a base device with just a few clicks and or steps.

The number of click throughs to get to a particular resource.

What do you like best about the product?
All of the things you can do to manage and secure our iOS and OS devices. Amazing on line support with huge knowledge base in Jamf Nation.

We haven't come across anything yet. Jamf has add some features with the latest update that have made it even better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mobile device management and security.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use of this product in so many ways and how many categories it actually covers in a simple layout. We've been using the Jamf Pro for two years now and I would go towards any other.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd say that there are some minor details that could be still implemented to the product, but Jamf development team does a great job patching out those in annual updates of the Jamf Pro platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Proper MacOS environment management with solid policy management that provides us with the necessary grasp of the clients which we previously didn't have.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I'd recommend contacting the Jamf Pro for a product demo and discuss the possibilities onsite demo.

Jamf is a community of Mac admins that support this amazing product to make any apple device deployable and easy to be manage.

Some of the updates need to be tested before use.

this makes life easy for Mac admins and makes me look like a hero compare to the windows admins.

Jamf Pro with is inquire of NoMAD, will be a big product not only to education but for many business industry.

Jamf really stays on top of the new features that Apple makes available to MDM companies.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few features missing that I would like to see. for example, more granular update control, and app deployment, also the ability to manually push the edu profile.

Jamf does almost everything that Apple makes available in the MDM specification and prettty close to zero day support.
