jamf Pro is flexible management tool, that just works
What do you like best about the product?
Jamf Pro is the most power and flexible management tool. If it is not already capable of doing what you want, you can add in a extension attribute or scrip to make it do exatly what you need. If you not sure how its done the Jamf Nation community is in full force ready and willing to help.
What do you dislike about the product?
The patch management for me is the only weak point. It does keeping software up-to-date on your Mac but it could be slicker.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Self Service is our power app, helps our users feel enpowered. Jamf has helped us do exactly that.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Jamf Pro offers the best "out of box" experiences in my opinion. Official training is always a good idea, having someone on staff certified help drive the way.

What do you like best about the product?
Zero-day support for Apple’s new releases is a huge bonus as it allows for a user-centric IT policy.
Like any complex software, there are occasional bugs. The team works hard to ensure that bugs are quickly resolved, however, and they are great at helping to mitigate, remedy and resolve any issues that may have arisen in your environment as a result.

What do you dislike about the product?
JAMF Pro’s pricing can sometimes be hard to justify, given the availability of cheaper and even free alternatives. It would be nice to see a JAMF move to a one-price for infinite devices payment structure, like that of a service like Basecamp.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JAMF Pro’s Self Service apps for Mac and iOS have substantially reduced support calls to our IT team. Users are empowered to make decisions about their own devices. This frees up the IT team to focus on the ongoing project-focused aspect of their roles, improving the business environment overall.
User Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that the registration of assets and the availability of apps are user friendly to use and install

Nothing about JAMF Pro its very user friendly to use.

All MAC installs and Asset Registration remotely
This integration has allowed us to minimize the number of manual activities performed by our Level 1 and 2 resources .

Data and facts in a single source, easy integration with SNow.
What do you dislike about the product?
My Apple Engineers rave about this platform. I can't say they indicate dislikes. From a leadership perspective, the one thing I dislike is the need to have two different solutions, one for our IOS/MAC OS and another for all other operating systems/end point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Device management, software patching, integrates into our zero touch platform for all Mac OS and IOS devices.

What do you like best about the product?
If Apple allows you do do it, you can do it with jamf. Some MDMs only allow you do do certain things, but with jamf you know you're getting it all. If you can't do it with jamf, its not possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
The company is growing at an extremely rapid pace right now and with that there are some growing pains. Support is working to improve, but its hard to keep up when adding new staff. There have been a lot of new acquisitions and people shifted from one place to another.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We work in education and manage devices for students and staff. We restrict functions on devices due to age, for discipline consequences, etc. We can do this from our desks, which saves time and allows us to be more productive.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a very comprehensive MDM; if you're looking for just iOS management it may be overkill. If you're looking for macOS, this is the gold standard.
Jamf Pro is the Best!
What do you like best about the product?
The one feature I like best would be the Zero-Touch deployment using pre-stage enrollments, this feature saves us countless hours of time. We are able to give hardware to people and allow them to setup 100% independently. There are many other useful features including Self-Service, config profiles, policies, apps ,etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like the Jamf Pro window to be clearly displayed with better organization of breadcrumbs and tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saved countless hours of labor and headache on our IT dept, Jamf Pro has allowed us to manage over 9000 devices and 200 macs with a very small team of 2 tech specialists.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is the premier management solution for Apple products, while expensive it is better than all other MDM solutions.
Powerful Mac Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Extremely powerful software - infinitely useful in terms of mac management.
What do you dislike about the product?
Somewhat clunky GUI, time-consuming to set up and difficult to learn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing policies for over 100 macs. Able to quickly push out an update, block software installation, change settings, remotely wipe macs instantly.

It's a one stop shop for managing Apple devices.

Nothing, I'm enjoying everything they provide right now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can manage all Macs remotely. They days off manually installing software and physically going to a Mac with issues is dead. We can now do all of that remotely.
Jamf Pro is the best Apple Management Product on the Planet
What do you like best about the product?
Unlike other MDM systems, it WORKS. I was using Munki and macOS server/Profile Manager and had so many problem with it. Jamf Pro just works perfectly. You don't have to work that your policies and config profiles aren't going to get deployed to all of the scoped devices. It is a really, really great product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. It is SO well developed. Seriously I have never used a product as good as Jamf. It just blows me away that the product works so well and how great their support staff is. They are on the ball, and everyone who is serious about managing their Apple environment should be using Jamf Pro.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Apple device management from start to finish is done with Jamf. Initial configuration, deployment, managing and providing users with a real infrastructure (such as printing, hosted applications, updates, settings, preferences... the list goes on). It has excellent reporting features. Basically anything you can script, you can do with Jamf. We also use it for our iPads for similar deployment and management.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want to have full control of your Apple devices, have everything just work the way it's supposed to, and have a support team ready to help out... Go with Jamf. you won't regret it. Simply second to none.
