Excellent product!
What do you like best about the product?
Easy, simple management of our K-12 Macs and iPads.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like a better way to index and sort large lists of profiles, smart groups, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Periodically slight lag with our on-prem setup.
Best in breed macOS management tool.

Jamf constantly ups the bar on what it takes to be the best at managing macOS and iOS devices.

I have not run into anything that could cause me to disklike this platform.

Jamf Pro has helped us managing our international Mac fleet with extreme ease and flexibility.

How jamf provides all the tools that you would need to fully integrate apple devices into an windows based enterprise environment

To get the most out of the integration you have to be sufficient with apple specific scripts.

A solid product with an awesome community
What do you like best about the product?
Jamf has been infinitely helpful in getting our environment running, in my industry we’re heavily regulated on the security side which means integrating new products can be a bit of a nightmare. Between jamf nation and jamf support they’ve helped us through every step of this adventure.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some hoops to jump through to bring in any large scale product, especially an entire new OS like macOS. Jamf is no exception to that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We’ve been able to turn a few one off macOS devices into a scalable fleet with control over security, application deployments, updates, and more.

I like how easy it simplifies managing more than 1000 devices

Sometimes the navigation. Is a little hard to get around

So much to learn, too little time. I could use more dedicated time to understand the product.

Patch management has developed over the last few years to be an almost complete system for third party patches.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I hear out in the field is how costly Jamf Pro is compared to competitors solutions.

It’s been great. Love the product. I love how much easier it is to manage computers.
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to manage deivices. See reports and get our work order count down. I like the dashboard and seeing what needs my attention. I have been able to streamline pushing apps to devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see more support in the kick off. I was given a tour for a couple of hours. But then just had to call help desk for any follow up questions. Searching for devices can sometime be hard. added devices to a static group can take time because you can see a like of what is on that list.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been able to stop devices from walking away from our district. Being able to see what OS devices are on has been critical.

It’s a great product for visibility.
