Uses of browser stack
What do you like best about the product?
Mobile automation is best functionality that a user can take benefit. Also the performance and usability is quite good and interactive.Multiple featues make it stand out in the market

Results are sometime flaky and sometimes mobile automation or browser automation recordings are not available

Browser stack is solving the problem of maintaining fleet of physical devices and hence reducing infra cost.
THE ULTIMATE PLATFORM FOR CICD SOLUTION
What do you like best about the product?
Browserstack helps to integrate jenkins seamlessly with just some clicks. It helps to integrate TOSCA , SELENIUM, PLAYWRIGHT and many more open source as well as paid applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost is little up side. It would be great if they separate out the packages and give different cost for each add on, so that every other small organizations can afford.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. The most useful feature is ease of integrating CICD pipeline for continuous testing where we can integrate jenkins with some clicks.
2. The real time data and dashboard helps to troubuleshoot code as well as the application on test failure.
3. Inbuilt recording of tests is awesome so that cutting the extra efforts.

some devices aren't available from time to time due to high traffic

What do you like best about the product?
Best part about Browserstack is that we are getting all the features in single dashboard. Earlier we use to run pipeline from Gitlab then check the report in report portal. But after Browserstack we are maintaining, running and analysing our test from single dashboard.

What do you dislike about the product?
While running mobile automation test, Test was running is runing slow in the browserstack. Whereas, for web tests it works perfectly and smooth.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've been using Browserstack from 2 years in our organisation. Browserstack has reduced our cost for integrating other third party tool such as report portal, Test Plan management tool. We are using browserstack for both type of testing - Manual and Automation and that too for Mobile apps and web as well
Essential for front-end development
What do you like best about the product?
The wide array of browsers and operating systemt to test on. Just recently I was able to find an issue with a font (Segoe UI) which is available on Windows but requires a web font download on other operating systems. And it looked and behaved ever-so-slightly differently when "native" to the Windows OS vs being an external download.
What do you dislike about the product?
The list of browsers is amazing, however it may be a little overwhelming to newcommers. E.g. maybe tell me which Samsung Galaxy is the most popular and the first to test on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a Mac OS user/developer, I want to make sure there are no unexpected UI or other issues when my users browse using a different browser/OS, one that I don't even have access to.

BrowerStack allow us to use app live in various phone and devices.
In a single click we can test our app, website in differenct phones and different browsers.
It allows to test out app in all devices without infrastructure.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't feel there is any negative point in the browserstack, but once we close the session we can't access the device logs

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using browser stack to test our app in all devices and we can do the automation testing using appium all real time devices in a single click, we are also performing the accesability testing on real time devices.
Beyond automation, BrowserStack allows for live manual interaction with the browser on the device making it easy to test the app in all browsers and devices without any infrastructre.

- Availability of all devices and browsers
- Ability to change the location of device to the desired country to get the site working as per selected location

Nothing so far. Haven't found anything to dislike yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Testing on real device models which are not available to me. During the times when WFO was trend we used to have physical devices in office to test on multiple device.
However with remote work since physical devices are a problem, browserstack comes to the rescue.
Have faced issues somtimes with emulator and solved by testing on real devices on browserstack.

I, along my teammates use the test management product on daily basis. It speeds up our QA worklow making it easy to track down all the testcases and run them on requirement basis. Easy to use and support team is always responsive, prompt and helpful.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. What I don't like, would be the pricing, as it is on higher side if the team size is small.
2. Another drawback will be its slow speed when testing on heavy applications and website.

First of all, it solves problem of cross-browser testing in various devices. Real time testing and screenshot capture is really helpful.

Variety of available Devices and the responsiveness

There are glitches few times which are resolved by restarting session. Sometimes, network logs are also not visible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using App Live and App Automate for Functional and Automation Testing. Majorly using for devices testing.

What do you like best about the product?
Its simple to use. In browser - does not require any special tools or software.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes too many options in terms of versions, but its actually ok. We just need basically latest windows OS and its browsers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We do not have any windows OS machines in our rganization, thus we use this to test and validate our products on this platform.
