Effortless manual testing across browsers and devices

  • September 03, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
BrowserStack Live is incredibly easy to use and implement, with seamless device/browser switching and strong integration features, though occasional lag and pricing could be better. The real-time testing feature is incredibly helpful, especially when validating UI/UX across different screen sizes and operating systems. It’s also great for debugging issues that only appear on specific browser versions. The integration with tools like Jira and Slack adds to the overall productivity. It’s reliable, fast, and supports a wide range of environments.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the session can lag a bit, especially when testing on older devices or browsers. Also, the pricing can be a bit steep for smaller teams or startups. It would be great to have more flexible plans or usage-based billing. Occasionally, the network speed within the virtual device feels slower than expected, which can affect performance testing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack solves the challenge of cross-browser and cross-device compatibility by providing instant access to real devices and browsers, saving us from maintaining a physical device lab and helping us catch UI issues early in the testing cycle.

Great for responsive testing and regional content

  • September 02, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about BrowserStack is the ease of use. I typically use it for responsive testing - I like that we are able to test out so many different devices and versions of each device. I also use the country view to test out region-specific content on our website. This has been so useful to confirm that our dynamic content is working as expected.
What do you dislike about the product?
BrowserStack is great, but sometimes it takes a while to load for me. I also noticed that when I switch the country filter to test dynamic content, I usually need to refresh the page which took me some time to figure out. That is partially user error, but I assumed it would refresh automatically when the filter is applied.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I typically use BrowserStack for responsive testing and for confirming dynamic content for different regions. This helps us make sure that our website content it responsive and accessible, and allows us to make style or code updates if needed.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to perform app testing and browser testing through many different apple, android and other devices easily
What do you dislike about the product?
Many instances occur where UI bugs that appear on physical devices are not re creatable on browserstack (Not much we can do in determining what the cause of this is)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When requiring the ability to assess quality in mobile apps and app devices, browserstack helps us alot by allowing us to perform mobile testing (And app testing) using a range of mobile devices from multiple operating systems. This allows us to compare the user experience across multiple devices. This helps alot as it means we can perform these tasks without having to purchase physical devices which naturally cost a lot of money

Gets the job done

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive interface, easy to use, flexible, customizable
The ability to track automated test cases
Dashboard is easy to read, high level stat graphs are very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unable to export the entire test case base or selection of folders.
I'd like an option to order folders and test cases alphabetically
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack is helping me track my testing efforts, store and organize test cases, provide reports and visibility to stakeholders. We work in sprints, and I use Test Runs to display which test cases were used in the current sprint. Active test runs data provides high visibility and status update to the team. It is also helping me track automation test coverage.

Excellent Product and Support!

  • September 02, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
BrowserStack Live has been an invaluable tool that we've utilized across our organization and within our workflows. Having access to a vast array of devices, browsers, and versions has never been easier. You have access to all of the browsers debugging capabilities as well as the option to tunnel traffic so that you can perform testing on local or internal environments during software development. Whenever any sort of issue or questions have arised, the support team has always been able to respond quickly and help us with a solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
While myself and team love the product, I think one of the main issues are with latency when interacting with the remote devices/browsers. While it has gotten significantly better over the years, it's still something that we experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Browserstack gives us the ability to test (manually & automated) across a vast array of browsers and devices which we wouldn't realistically be able to secure nor maintain.

Revolutionized Our Cross-Browser Testing

  • September 02, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like that BrowserStack provides instant access to real devices with various OS and browser versions, which makes cross-browser testing easy. We don't need to set up any virtual machines, saving us cost, time, and effort. It's fantastic that we can do both live and automation tests in the same place using BrowserStack. Access is instant through the cloud, and we can quickly replicate the desired OS and browser to test and share results. The BrowserStack dashboard is user-friendly and doesn't require any specific training. It ensures backward compatibility and helps validate UX consistency. Plus, BrowserStack doesn't require any hardware setup, and it works from any machine since it's cloud-based, so the initial setup didn't take more than 15 minutes. In the current market, BrowserStack outstands in performance and features, and I would recommend it on a scale of 10.
What do you dislike about the product?
BrowserStack has performance issues. Since we access the device/OS/browsers from the cloud, we find latency very often, and UI elements are not quickly clickable or accessible. Even logging into the application takes a delay most of the time. BrowserStack local tunneling is tricky for new users. A frequent issue faced was lag in screen updates after triggering actions. Also, sometimes button clicks and their response take delay. Form input sometimes registers keystrokes slowly. Automated test suites with more than 70+ test cases take more time to complete execution. Slower test execution due to extra network hops. Need a single command setup that handles firewall conflicts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use BrowserStack to test our application across different browsers and versions without needing a physical device lab. It ensures cross-browser compatibility and helps debug applications quickly, saving cost and effort. It simplifies testing by providing instant cloud access to different OS types and versions.
