Automation test with cloud hosted devices reduces the testing efforts
What do you like best about the product?
Browserstack is having easy to use interface and even easier to navigate through the web service. You can easily find the targeted devices categorized. The implementation of the Browserstack or deployment of testing environment becomes easier with the support of documentations and with the support of well described documentations. Customer support team is always ready to help and to support. The integration of jenkins for test scheduling is awesome and works like charm. Frequent use of jenkins for regression testing made easy with browserstack.
What do you dislike about the product?
In my opinion it's best in the market. The cost cutting has to be done for better customer acquisition and the performance compromise with some devices is hectic to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For webapplication testing we have deployed different kind of environment to browserstack to target number of devices and to run all the tests in parallel execution to save time and efforts. The jenkin job scheduling for the test automation scripts and integration as well is even easier to do.

The pricing is a little high. It's possible that ISV's maybe priced out.

The Mobile App Testing allows us to see how our app functions on various devices and gage the look and feel of the app on a wide variety of devices.

What do you like best about the product?
Browserstack is easy to use while compared to it's market competitors.The Ease of implementing the automation script and the ease of integrating the test management tools like JIRA, Qtest are awesome to get realtime report. We really use the app live testing feature and the jenkin job runs ferquently. The customer support for all kind of problems and difficulties are responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I barely dislike any features that comes with Browserstack, but all are very expensive. The package comesup with is very expensive while compared to other cloud hosted platforms. After being expensive also there you can notice slight compromise with the performance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In our daily activity when new build or version of app gets deployed we run jenkin jobs for getting faster reports for regression testing, which helps us to cut the time, cost and most importantly effort. The integrated JIRA tools helps us to generate quite good report and the test history can be monitored from the browserstack crm. This is imapcting out ROI in a positive and upward manner to solve time issue for testing with low cost.

It is easy to use and the customer support for testing covers wide range of problems. The integration of Jira and Qtest are seamless and easy. The overall package cost is higher for small scaling industries and freelancers. Sometimes device performance issues comes up which hinders the testing experience

Browserstack is having bunch of hosted devices to the cloud that helps in mobile as well as web application testing with ease. The test script and test automation implementation to the browserstack is easy. The customer support for the problems and testing is very easy. We in our organization frequently used for mobile application testing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost of packages are high and the packages never includes all the facility for testing. Different price for mobile as well different price for web application. Number of features are more but really hard to find. The integration with other tools like JIRA and Qtest is not that easy as described.

We use automation testing scripts for the mobile application automation as well for web application automation testing. Test report and test management is also easy for report generation and analysis with smart dashboard and interactive application and Jira and Qtest integration. The impact of ROI is positive as it reduces the time and effort for testing and device reach is more.

The main advantage of browserstack is the test obervability , test management and test insights. The second thing is all the devices are cloud hosted which helps to target more number of devices and at the same time test coverage is more. Strong customer support also plays a role when they respond quickly for solving the problem. The integration with JIRA for test management shows the ease of integration and ease of use. Implementing the test scripts are too easy with guided steps on the website.
What do you dislike about the product?
The web site should be improved and they should classify the features and guide for each feature and version, otherwise very difficult to find any documentations. The price also can be lowred in case of negociation as well for small companies or for freelancers.

In our organization we often use browserstack as mobile application testing platform for quicker testing and quicker report for the tests. It minimizes the development to deployment cycle with ease and early defect finding and fixing. Sometimes the team feels like every penny worthit for buying browserstack for better results.
An overall good product for QA teams with small device inventories
What do you like best about the product?
It has a wide range of devices and OS versions, ideal for validation testing, especially when trying to replicate Client-reported bugs. It's intuitive and easy to use, and 90% of the times the loading times are almost immediate, like having the device right in your hand. The local testing is also a nice addition that works flawlessly for debugging. The user management is instantaneous and worked great when onboarding freelancers and later removing them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes devices crash during their loading and it becomes very painful to troubleshoot. Also, iOS devices do not support the "Tab" key, so switching from Android to iOS when needing to input site credentials feels annoying. The screen recording feature is nice, but the videos it outputs are not the highest quality and are quite heavy in contrast to other tools.

We keep all out devices with the latest software, so when we need to validate older versions, BrowserStack is our savior. It also allows QA testers to work from home without needing to access physical devices that are stored at the office.

The connections to the devices feels laggy sometimes. Starting off was a little hard, but got accustomed to how to operate with a small delay
