Using it daily - does what it has to
What do you like best about the product?
As a software company, BrowserStack is incremental for us. It has a wide selection of real devices and browsers, allowing us to test across various platforms and configurations. This ensures your player solution works seamlessly for diverse users.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be slow at times especially when loading of browsers on mobile

Testing our solution across all browsers and devices to ensure feature functionality parity across the board

I like the simple fact that it is not necessary to install any means when using their services, which helps make it a simpler means.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say that the need to confirm the processes when performing some tests, such as watching some videos to confirm if the process was done correctly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have problems when it comes to performing some tests on my applications, and thanks to BrowserStack, these tests become easier to perform compared to other means.

Being able to preview how a website functions on multiple browsers across multiple devices

Excellent for cross-device debugging
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to do on-device testing, especially for iOS devices with access to the DOM and console are a game changer. Having access to multiple different device profiles across platforms is a huge help. Having a large vareity of devices also helps test multiple use cases without us needing to purchase physical devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, in my experience everything I was testing worked as expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A problem we run into is issues which are on isolated browsers/devices which we can't usually inspect (e.g. iOS safari). Being able to test on a real device and inspect/debug in realtime is a huge help saving us countless hours of development work and troubleshooting.

What do you like best about the product?
When you create web apps for users who may be using different mobile devices, browser versions, and operating systems, it's almost impossible to test for every combination of these facets. BrowserStack provides an easy-to-use solution that allows QA folks to test whichever browsers, devices, etc. are supported and provide screenshots when issues or bugs arise which quickly allows the development team to look into them address them. The ability to local testing is very useful for developments as well before features are pushed to a QA environment.

The set for local testing was not so straightforward, but a technical person will be able to get it work generally
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows for QA phase to be more comprehensive and less duration. It has been a while since I have used it due to my current role, but in my past consulting roles, I have used it quite a bit.

I am a frontend engineer and need to ensure my work is usable across a multitude of browsers and devices. BrowserStack simplifies this and provides dev tools to debug.

Not much, its pretty great. It has been an integral part of my workflow.

Very easy to use. Shows your website across multiple platforms and gives good intel on how your site will look so you can tweak before you go live.

Pricing is a bit high, but the value for the service provided is worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is horrible when you launch a website an your client comes back and tells you they pulled it up on their XYZ device and it loaded slow, or looked like crap. This tool saves you from that embarrassment.

What do you like best about the product?
Being software tester we need the latest devices with different versions to test software but this makes it expensive to get all devices so here browserstack come very helpful and we can test any device we want and can select any browser or os version as well

We can not get all devices as its not easy to manage so browserstack helps us to test any device with all versions which saves a lot
