What do you dislike about the product?
I can only provide positives about working with Drata and using their platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata has allowed us to obtain and maintain our compliance requirements and to obtain ISO, SOC and GDPR certifications.

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy having the automation to connect similarities between multiple frameworks. I no longer need to keep track of various framework requirements and perform gap analysis on them. It is also extremley easy to use for both the administrators and company employees. Implmentation was easy, and the support team walked me through any issues I had. The amount of integrations with products I use makes it helpful to keep from having to check as many things manually.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is that employees only see the documents assigned to them, which requires them to accept each one individually . I prefer to have all compliance docs available for review, but only assign specific ones to groups.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves having to keep track of requirements of all frameworks and combines them in an easy to use portal. It also helps provide a centralized location for documents as well as an easy to use audit portal.

As a small team tackling the complex Compliance process can be very difficult. Drata helped us navigate the complex requirements, needs, and documents required to get off the ground.
The team is especially helpful both pre-sale and post-sale to ensure you are successful. Our CDM Mike helped us stay on track and offered monthly and weekly syncs (early on) to help us learn the platform. He was available whenever we needed to discuss the platform, compliance needs, docs on their site etc, etc. The compliance experts in the app are very helpful with any random question you have, far exceeding my expectations on the kind of support you can get via a chat tool.

What do you like best about the product?
The upside of using Drata is its customer support, we've had the pleasure of working with Jordan and he has been a huge help in our process to become SOC2 certified, we would have been so lost without him.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside of using Drata is that it can be overwhelming at first with so many options available, it's easy to get lost. But after you use it more frequently, you start learning how to navigate and find what you're looking for. It does become easier to understand with time.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In our SaaS product, start-up environment, Drata is helping us remain aligned on our "security first" approach to our product and security posture. The platform is also helping us remain on track towards our SOC2 certification goals.
Soc2 made easy
What do you like best about the product?
Having gone through the Soc2 process with two companies - one which used Drata and one which didn't, I can honestly say that the platform is a godsend. I am able to have full visibilty on all of the team and keep on top of who is compliant and who needs to take action. There are also many policy templates which have been useful and saved us writing them all from scratch. I would say the platform is pretty easy to use. I'm not a technical genius and have managed to navigate around it just fine. Our assigned representative is Jordan Penn, and Jordan has been great in guiding us through the process. I've met with Jordan twice monthly over the past 12 months and found him to be very knowledgable and insightful. I highly recommend both Drata and Jordan.

It's quite expensive. Other than that, no negatives.

What do you like best about the product?
Ryan from Drata - was able to fix our DNS issues within 8 minutes. Better than most technical architects.

Your tech support articles are a bit too simple and not all that helpful.

The navigation and user interface are well organized and easy to use. The Customer Success Team is outstanding! Jessica has been a fantastic resource to us.

Sometimes the integrations don't enable accurate updates.

Good customer experience despite a rocky start
What do you like best about the product?
Knowledgeable customer success managers to help guiding our team through SOC2. Comprehensive software product, easy to integrate with our infrastructure.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some lost momentum in our SOC2 implementation, especially when it came to writing our policies. The template experience is overwhelming, and the Drata team took too long to identify that we needed help and an external partnership to succeed at writing our policies.
