A Game-Changer for SOC 2, CCPA, and Third-Party Risk Management
What do you like best about the product?
As the Information Security & IT Director at YCharts, I'm responsible for our SOC 2 and CCPA compliance, along with managing our third-party risk. Drata has been a fantastic partner in automating and streamlining these efforts.
Drata's real-time monitoring, seamless integrations, and intuitive dashboard has made our SOC 2 compliance effortless. Drata continuously tracks our security posture, evidence, and policies.
While the Drata platform and technology is greater, the real differentiator has been our Customer Success Manager, Elizebeth. Her wealth of knowledge and expertise in SOC 2 compliance has been invaluable, wheather we need guidance on compliance updates, or details on current controls.

What do you dislike about the product?
One area I think Drata could improve is by improving and increasing it's integrations with other Security and IT tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As YCharts grew we knew that becoming SOC 2 and or ISO 27001 compliance was essential for building our customer trust. When we started compliance journey and was in search for a solution that could provide expert guidance to help us navigate compliance, Drata was the answer.

Drata makes evidence management straight-forward in a central management interface
What do you like best about the product?
Drata is the best tool my team and I have found for gathering and managing evidence in a central location. We have to gather and herd tons of information, so having one simple, central place to do it is crucial for us. Customer support is also well-executed at Drata. They're very helpful and responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't support all the connections I would like it to have, but despite that, it's still the best option for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata is giving us a place to track and manage our efforts to become compliant, and it's making it easier for us to collaborate and maintain a huge amount of information.
Great platform to manage compliance to multiple framework.
What do you like best about the product?
Consolidation of controls aligned to various frameworks make audit easy and efficient. It really helps in building efficient and accurate process for monitoring controls. Continuous monitoring through integration is very helpful to identify & mitigate vulnerabilities. CSM support was great throughout the onboarding and transition process. @Elizabeth John

There is still scope of improvement on Risk Management component.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps in reducing repetitive work for multiple frameworks and various controls are mapped together.
Drata makes compliance easy
What do you like best about the product?
We use Drata for SOC2 and GDPR compliance. It tells you everything you need to do and monitors it continuously. I don't have to think about it on an ongoing basis. They are also very responsive in the chat if you have any questions. It also makes our audits easier, most of the information is available to the auditors so we don't need to produce much documentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
For GDPR, it was a little unclear how to get started, but we chatted with them and that helped a lot. Now that we are set up, it's easy.

How fast support will jump on an issue when it's brought to their attention.

Sometimes it can take a bit of time and constant communication to resolve more complex issues.

Drata is an excellent compliance platform
What do you like best about the product?
Drata is really handy for things like 27001 compliance as it walks you through the process initially, and then monitors your platforms to ensure ongoing compliance. You get notifications of things like controls that are not ready and it's generally pretty straightforward to dig down to find what's causing it, and then fix it.
The support staff at Drata are very helpful and always prompt to respond and were able to answer a number of complicated compliance questions for us as we went through the process.

What do you dislike about the product?
The main downside of Drata is that you have a continuous insight into your compliance status so you know immediately if you're not passing - nothing gets the chance to get swept under the rug.

Drata helps ensure that we are up-to-date with our security stance.
Drata, the efficient way to propel your compliance program
What do you like best about the product?
Easy layout with the ability to create what you want to see and achieve. Audits flow nice and having the option to see what controls fall into audits really does help to see what you need to work on.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish there was more a risk management function with in Drata to utilize.

Having everything in one place and a simple layout. Ease of use to see what controls have materials and what needs to be worked on
Great Support Team, Great Features, It Just Works
What do you like best about the product?
One of the things I appreciate about Drata is that things just work. We are still working on implementing more of the features that the platform has to offer, but currently we are making use of the policy center, the trust center, and vendors and all these features work smoothly. The platform has been incredibly helpful for us preparing for our HITRUST audit by mapping the controls to our policies and for providing evidence to our auditor of risk tracking and mitigation.
We like keeping our policies in Confluence, so the integration between Drata and Confluence was seamless to set up and maintain.
Additionally, the regular connect meetings we've gotten to do with Greta and now Rob have been some of the best support that we have gotten since I started with my current company a year ago.

What do you dislike about the product?
The features I mentioned in the section about what I like are the main ones that I actually use currently. Out of these, there's nothing I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata solves our problem of storing governance tasks in one place that we can point relevant people to or pull information from. If we need to upload our policies for a HITRUST audit, we can get them all from a simple click in Drata. When we need to review our vendors, we have them all in Drata.

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing about Drata is how easy it is to keep track of security configurations on company devices. It provides a simple view and a ton of integrations to automate.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't currently have anything that I dislike about Drata. Support has been great, the tool has almost always worked well on user computers, and it's been a pretty smooth experience overall.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of device compliance. Before Drata, we struggled to keep track of user settings, such as display timeout or encryption, and we had to track them down manually and ask them to resolve. Now, that we have Drata, it's easy to keep track of devices that become non-compliant.

What do you like best about the product?
Drata has been a game changer in our audit preperation process, and the Safebase acquisition promises to simplify our third-party engagment even further. Simply the best platform out there. It's notable not only for its excellent capabilities, but its low-TCO and great ease-of-use. Even the best systems still need support - especially with a new client like Lydonia. We struggled with some unique exclusion requirments for an automated test configuration, and reached out using Drata's simple chat interface. Sean Blaine on their team immediately engaged and helped walk through and resolve issues - great service!
What do you dislike about the product?
No downside to Drata. If anything, the sheer volume of capabilities means there is a lot to leverage - but the intuitive nature of the product and the impeccable support make that not just manageable, but a true pleasure in using the platform.
