Great compliance tool, although a little pricey
What do you like best about the product?
Drata has streamlined our security complance journey and made it easy to understand where our gaps are.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main downside for us as been the cost involved, additionally, there is limited support during our business hours as Drata are US based and we're in Australia, so things happen a little slowly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata and the connections to our services allow for a large amount of automation and gap anaysis, this has saved us a lot of time and manual checks.

What do you like best about the product?
Client preparedness for audits. Ease of access through the auditor portal.
What do you dislike about the product?
Most clients believe that we gain efficiencies by obtaining documentation through a GRC platform, but for an auditor, it is really just an different documentation repository. This isn't specific to Drata, it applies broadly. However, integration with FieldGuide should change this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata helps clients better prepare audit artifacts and have more documenation available the first day of fieldwork.
A great platform that is growing with our capabilities and maturity
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to manage 8 different security compliance frameworks on one platform with only one FTE! The customer sucess team is also great and very much focused on building a long-term relationship...this was the clincher for us. (A big shout out to Alex and Aoife)
What do you dislike about the product?
Some capabilites are maturing slower than others (such as risk and asset management) .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing multiple compliance frameworks, as well as general GRC activities, with limited resources.
SOC2 compliance experience with Drata
What do you like best about the product?
Drata is pretty easy to use once you understand how the user interface is setup. The detailed guide in every step has been very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initially the UI was a little confusing. I can never talk to a live person under help option right away but they have a good customer team who are easy to reach through email.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It streamlines the compliance process and reduces manual effort.

I find it difficult to assess whether a control is mandatory or optional. It should be better explained

Drata is helping us in tracking required controls for SOC 2 and HIPAA compliance

What do you like best about the product?
The categorisation features including of the audit requirements, controls and policies are easy to use.
The templates are also full featured and while not ready out of the box, are much better than starting from ground zero.

What do you dislike about the product?
As with anything that simplifies a complex process, there is a learning curve to the software. A few bumps in the road with integration to external software providers.

Drata is simplifying the compliance journey with a cloud based tool that manages all controls, policies and tests in a mostly automated manner.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and was implemented smoothly across my organisation. Customer support is very responsive. I use it daily in my work as a GRC analyst due to its control monitoring features. It integrates well with my organisation's instance of Intune, Entra ID, and Azure, making control testing and monitoring a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
Still lacking some basic features which I have submitted feature requests for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata is helping my organisation attain ISO27001 certification faster by automating our evidence collection and streamlining our continuous control monitoring.
Amazing support team and product
What do you like best about the product?
Tech support team is amazing, they follow-up and give resolutions, they go an extra mile to make it easy for us, tools is also very good, overall i am a happy user. Its super easy to implement, their support members are available 24/7, its already very well integrated, and too easy to do it myself.
What do you dislike about the product?
so far nothing, i realy need to think and put something here, may be an example could have been better to help me- link evidence which is failing in monitoring environment, that could have been better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Achieving faster compliance means that nearly 50-60% of the work is reduced, and it's altogether 3-4 months of hard and trying work that's completed. Drata allows collaboration and automation to make things easy for everyone.

Support is great and always responsive. The AI responses are good I can contact a person quickly if needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigation and control approval is sometimes confusing.

Ongoing ISMS managment and multiple frameworks alignment.
