Automated Compliance
What do you like best about the product?
It streamlines and automates my compliance needs. It's easy to use. It saves me time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The do such a good job of listening to the customer that its hard to identify negative aspects of Drata.

What do you like best about the product?
We know that compliance != security, but it's a great way to just GET STARTED on a security journey. Drata helps make this easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not too many downsides, but like any non-directly-revenue-related expense, it can be hard to get budget. The ROI is there, though!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saves time, helps keep "eyes in the sky" on our control, makes the audit process easy.

What do you like best about the product?
Platform helps first timers like myself comfortable with the frameworks we are starting our journey on. Reporting and automated tests help reduce time for us and avoid use spreadsheets.

In all seriousness the policy editor is hot garbage. Working between the editor UI and copy/pasting between Google Docs or MS word is terrible.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was tasked with getting my organization ISO 27001 compliant. As a one-man IT department I needed a platform and partner that can help me manage my time better. Continious monitoring, policy templates, support that is always available and a nice dashboard for reporting has helped so much and we're only getting started with our compliance journey!

Drata and the GRC Journey
What do you like best about the product?
Since implementing DRATA I have seen a reduction in audit burden on valuable resource within the company which has lead to increased productivity. DRATA has offered a simple one stop management tool for simplifying governance management.
At Softcat we have utilised the custom framework module heavily enabling us to have everything on one place for oversight and management.

What do you dislike about the product?
The risk management module still has some way to go to reach the level of maturity required for large enterprise.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DRATA has enabled the primnciple of evidence once comply many which has reduced the time required for evidence collection. In addition it has also coalesced the audit experience for staff and external auditors.

Very easy to use and integrate. Flexible product allows quick pivot to new compliance areas. Saved significant time and money with audits and compliance.

Some areas can be clunky, or buggy but support handles most issues quickly

Regulatory compliance with HIPPA, SOC and NIST. As a regulated company we have high standards to meet and Drata is helping us do so efficiently and effectively.

Ease of use (I'm a non technical end user) and I never thought I would be in a security tool this often as a salesperson - it's so easy

No complaints - maybe expanding use cases for legal - but that's not been a problem

In sales - I want to speed up the security review process as much as possible and provide all of the information in a central location.
But I also want to control who sees the documents and get alerts when they do.
Drata makes it super easy to do all of that. Never throught I would be in a security tool as often as I am!

Great experience and user friendly solution, hard to imagine not having it to manage our compliance
What do you like best about the product?
The product does exactly what it was sold to do - make compliance and monitoring more automated so it is not such a daugnting task to keep up with. The integrations are a game changer and the training and support are fantastic.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to say here, I look forward to more integrations and additional compliance add-ons in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata helped us completed our SOC 2 audit and is automating our continious monitoring needs.

What do you like best about the product?
The Drata platform is organized logically and pragmatically to guide the compliance experience. We were able to work through and complete our SOC 2 Type 2 compliance and resulting successful audit in just a few months. Drata organized our approach and harnessed what can be a very undirected activity.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really don't have a dislike about Drata. On some occassions when Drata spots a problem in our compliance, it can take some work to discover the real problem. I have found that is usually just a user learning issue, to know where to look. When I could not find the issue, the help center and customer support team was quick to help me find the resolution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We provide custom business solutions for clients and needed to operate in a SOC 2 Type 2 certified environment. Drata helped us obtain our certification, but also provided us with a continously monitored environment. We can now correct any issue as it occurs. Drata has also allowed us to integrate some of our key security solutions into a more comprehensive experience.
Gaining a much organized and efficient Information Security through Drata
What do you like best about the product?
Drata demonstrates a hollistic approach to attaining information compliance in one centralized area. I love that the Drata team exudes the eagerness to listen to customer feedback. The tool itself is easy to use especially once you get through the fear of messing it up.
What do you dislike about the product?
Thus far there is nothing that I dislike about Drata. One area i think can improve is during quick start or through the onboarding steps, it would be beneficial to provide more insight on what a customer can expect on those steps. May be great to provide links to specific training/ community topics that will be very useful guides to getting the onboarding done.
