On my end, Cisco Duo suits my account needs well. The application remains in place. We generally apply Cisco Duo across various use cases. Many customers, including banks and private organizations, use it for enhanced security, particularly in financial and general security tasks.

It's a decent 2FA app
What do you like best about the product?
Duo Security is a simple and easy to use 2FA app with a nice UI.
What do you dislike about the product?
Most places that offer 2FA these days don't seem to support Duo, which is a shame as it's a great app. I guess Google rules all!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Duo allows me extra security for accounts without having to use less secure methods such as SMS verification.

I am interested in adding auto-admin services and incorporating icons for easier navigation. This could contribute to a new business idea platform. I have seen the features, and they make things easier, resolving issues from before. The platform has been updated, and there's now another link in my platform for media access.
When it comes to improvements, the UI can be more user-friendly, and there is room for easier navigation.
There could be enhancements in customization. I haven't had issues with storage or backup, but I am open to improvements in customization functionality. It's not my environment, but I see possibilities for improvement in the deployment of funds.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using Cisco Duo for the past year. Customers request server protection using various servers, and it can integrate with applications. It is an MFA solution, designed for server access and data security.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
Typically, I manage things directly from the GUI, and I handle whatever comes up. So far, stability has been an issue, but I am not the creator of the solution, so I cannot predict future occurrences.
Generally, it has been fine without any notable issues, but the future is uncertain. I would rate it 8 out of 10.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
It is scalable and I would rate it 8 out of 10. Regarding the size of your customers, they are mostly large enterprises.
How are customer service and support?
We haven't encountered any significant issues so far. The only time we need to contact support is when something arises, and they promptly address it. Everything else has been running smoothly.

How was the initial setup?
I would rate it seven because it comes with numerous features that require continuous upgrades. I have observed the need for consistent updates in the inventory. It is beneficial for newcomers to the platform, as data is continuously added, and automation has reduced the effort required to find information. It roughly takes 12 hours to be deployed.

I am not aware of the pricing. There are two departments, and I don't have any information about them.
What other advice do I have?
Cisco Duo effectively safeguards against customer factors, such as unauthorized access attempts or server breaches. It provides a high level of protection, ensuring only authorized individuals have access to the environment. I am confident in its security features.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Duo Security to access my portal and as soon as I login in, the authentification code is sent to my phone. I like the simplicity of it because I only have to click accept. There are different authentication softwares but this one is easy to use.

One thing I disliked about Duo Security is that there were occasional problems with the system that the code wouldn't be sent.

As a security software it met its true goal of providing that extra security by using the multi-factor authentication.

It was a nice tool to access the computer that I used to work, it was a daily task in order to authenticate and use the tools to develope the daily task. Since I was working from home, it was a mandatory step to improve the security and to make sure I will be the only one to be able to access the information.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that I dislike was that I felt the process was a little bit long, sometimes the code expired because the computer was old and slow. Also, when I was in a rush to login, it was not the faster authentication application that I have used, however it always worked.

Preventing that anyone can have access to the information, since we have access to the customers sensitive data and we work from home, it was very important keeping this information protected
DUO Security is the really easy to use and useful product to implement 2FA.
What do you like best about the product?
It was simple to set up, and authentication is virtually immediate when connecting to my company's VPN. I prefer the push notification approval approach, as it only requires me to tap a button on my phone. It combines with many other out-of-the-box solutions, and it offers cloud-based, AD-integrated SAML SSO and virtual appliance alternatives to protect even bespoke interfaces. We utilized Duo to protect our VMware Horizon desktop environment; setup and deployment were simple, and I like how simple it is to connect with Active Directory. Even better, end user onboarding was simple, and end users found the system simple to use, which is the most important benefit.
What do you dislike about the product?
I had some issues in the past when I moved phones since I didn't correctly backup my old phone. If you don't click approve soon enough, the request may expire, causing the verification to fail.

Duo Security guarantees that access to sensitive information handled by my organization is restricted to those who need it; we utilize Duo Security for all SSO logins. Our security requirements demanded MFA, and Duo Security enabled us to have it up and operating in a couple of days with no disruption to production. Users were easily onboarded, and there was no technical learning curve. We use Duo Security to safeguard our VMware Horizon desktops; the user can receive a push notice on their mobile device, an SMS code, or a phone call; I like the alternatives because each individual has a distinct way of completing their login.

What do you like best about the product?
Duo Security works with every application I can think of; if you don't already have setup instructions, you can design your own app to protect it utilizing its webhooks. In our organization, we use Duo Security for SSO - single sign-on and multi-factor authentication. All enterprise-related access, whether on desktop or mobile and through other third-party apps, also requires Duo authorization Security to log in, which provides a very safe and secure logging environment and also means that I receive a notification on my mobile device whenever someone attempts to log in to the systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of any drawbacks because, once installed, the effort to monitor and maintain the solution produces a "set it and forget it" method. Trying to set up Microsoft 365 2FA can be difficult since they require active directory, however they are beginning to get around this if you have Azure.

Duo was an obvious pick for a good platform for a 2FA solution because the expenses are very inexpensive in comparison to the security benefits you receive from utilizing it. We now have it linked to JumpCloud and are looking for new apps. It is built for push alerts, but they don't always function; I have to open the app and manually input the login code, which bothers me. From a management standpoint, there isn't much information about setup and usage; also, the username is not established by the user; it is set by the administrator who added the user and is difficult to communicate to the user.

You no longer need to remember passwords with one-click login, and the code refreshes every minute to keep you even more safe, Duo Security is excellent for both small and large enterprises. With the Duo Security app, two-factor authentication has been made very simple; there is no need to pick up the phone and enter credentials to complete two-factor authentication; data is more safe with the two-factor authentication system. We have introduced a second layer of security to our cloud environment with Duo Security; you must have the device to obtain the code and password, and an administrator must permit you access; security has risen.
