What do you like best about the product?
The most notable feature of this program that I like is that it allows our team to share documents over the Internet. Once a file is uploaded to Dropbox, team members can immediately view and discuss it. Also, among the variety of new features, I find it satisfying to be able to easily share large files with people both inside and outside the company.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to show that photos sync faster with Dropbox than other services, it would save us valuable time for the organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been using Dropbox in our company and it has been a great help and changed the way we think about file storage and sharing. Previously, we used a traditional hard drive, but all of that has now changed thanks to the ease with which we can use Dropbox in almost any scenario where we need to safely store files.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend Dropbox, without a doubt, it is a great solution if you need to share large files with multiple internal and external parties, it is easy to use its interface is simple, it is an option that has a low cost, which makes it ideal for any situation to manage company data safely and smoothly.

Reliable and secure file storage

  • December 02, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to use Dropbox and its straightforwardness. It's an excellent file storage platform with quick uploading and downloading means. You can use it on your computer, mobile phone, and web browser for file storage. Under the same account, you can use Dropbox to transfer files on multiple devices with ease. You can create folders for adequately organizing your files, and you can also have shared folders and invite users to view and edit the files in them. You can send files to any user with the unique URL to each file, or you can ask them to view and download them via email. Dropbox is excellent for collaborating on files as you can simultaneously edit them with others. You can use Dropbox Paper to create documents of any kind, including spreadsheets and slides. Dropbox is excellent for its additional features, such as managing work tasks and passwords. You can create lists for different sections of your projects and assign users for each part. You can set deadlines and to-do lists for better time management and reminders. You can use Dropbox for free, where you're allotted 2GB of storage. You can upgrade this to several TBs for affordable subscription prices.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike anything about Dropbox. It's fantastic for storage and collaboration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I currently work from home, and Dropbox has made it easier for me to share files with my coworkers. We use Dropbox religiously to collaborate on coding files and projects from the web browser. We have files on shared folders that anyone in our team can access and edit, which eliminates the need to download them to our computers to edit. Dropbox is usable on any device, making it easier to use and share files anywhere. Its swiftness in allowing us to transfer files saves us plenty of time and become more productive as there is less time wastage on waiting for email attachments. Unlike email attachments, which have a slight limit on file sizes, Dropbox comes with a minimum of 2GB, making it convenient to share large files quickly. For sharing files that exceed Dropbox's limit, you can use the File Transfer feature or ask the other user to request a file. You can then send them large files seamlessly. Dropbox is pretty secure and comes with the feature to recover deleted files. By default, you can have up to a month to retrieve any deleted file. Overall, Dropbox is excellent for file sharing, storage, collaborative features, and Dropbox Paper.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Dropbox is free from the get-go with no credit card requirements or free trials. You can start using it by signing in with LinkedIn or Gmail and uploading files seamlessly. If you've never used it before, I highly recommend Dropbox for storage.

  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox helps get things organized and it allows us to focus on what matters the most for us. Easy to use, efficient and very handy for creators, entrepreneurs, teachers who often have large files to share. It's also pretty secure as it uses encryption.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be slow to upload/download large files, especially on Android.
Also, even though Dropbox is pretty secure, if someone has public URL to a sensitive file, it can get exposed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For my academy, i have plenty of Large files on what I teach. Also all the classes I have had till now, I archive them and use Dropbox to resend them. I also use Google Drive but I like the interface in Dropbox.

Best sync experience of all cloud products

  • December 01, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox has a very reliable sync mechanism that provides a good experience for working on files from multiple different devices and across many types of files. The app and client are great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost is creeping up on certain aspects of the service as it seems they are trying to expand their revenue sources, but it may be distracting a bit from the core mission.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping documents and files in sync across multiple devices in a very reliable way. This has worked flawlessly for me and allowed me to be more efficient with my time and trust that my data is going to be where I need it when I need it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If all you need is file storage and sync this is a great and very reliable product; the product is expanding to offer more things that are outside of just storage and these are generally done better by other companies however I haven't found a more reliable and robust data storage and sync product even from larger companies.

Overall great sharing software

  • December 01, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
This is overall a great cloud based system to store all files for the current projects I need for work as well as personal storage for my personal pictures, notes, etc.
Dropbox also allows my team to collaborate by allowing use to multiple users or allowing single users to use it from/in multiple locations like work and home use. Personally a tried and true software
What do you dislike about the product?
It can get expensive with having to have multiple users or file sizes. In the case of smaller projects, Dropbox may offer too many features for the need, making things complicated. Also, I noticed that duplicate files names can make it harder to collaborate with having to change the file name before sending, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By using Dropbox, I am solving the issue of file sharing with multiple coworkers and allowing for quicker collaboration with those with only basic computer skills.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that I can do quick uploads for multiple devices. I can also easily access my stuff on the go
What do you dislike about the product?
I hate how fast the free space runs out. I also hate how long it takes for the uploads to be in your dropbox
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving the problem of needing extra space on my phone. I always need somewhere to put my photos especially since I take photos of my food because I'm a chef
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend purchasing extra space for the ease of use versus other companies

The convenient cloud storage at low cost

  • November 30, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Sharing files or any type of document via Dropbox is just great. We can upload files to our storage and share the link with other users. Giving access to an individual or my team is very easy—now no need to carry the pen drive and hand it physically.
What do you dislike about the product?
As we know, it's free to use, but there are limitations. It would be good if they could increase the free usage a bit. The individual plan price could be a bit less. Other than that, the UI is a bit nonuser-friendly. It can be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox gives me secure access to the files from anywhere in the world. I can collaborate with my team, friends, family, and clients from any device. Dropbox saves my time. It's very easy to share updates whenever you want.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
As you know, Dropbox is free to use for an average user. You can start with the free version, and I must say that you will buy the premium package. I can say that this is the best application to store, share, and back up your files on the cloud server. The best thing is that it has an excellent mobile app which makes it easier for you to access and share files any time and anywhere.
I have been using an external hard disk or pen drive to present a project to my team, but Dropbox helped me get rid of the traditional way of carrying a pen drive or hard disk.

The OS friendly cloud storage platform for storing our doc, pdf, text and any format files

  • November 30, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy and allows to store any type of file from any device, irrespective, widows / Android / IOS. The Professional allows up to 3TB of Data for almost $20/month.
What do you dislike about the product?
The inbuilt systems now offer their cloud storage, and that's easier, though, as they show that option as default when we try to save from our device. And Some editing options are not there, like editing a PDF.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No need to buy memory in our device as that will add a minimum of $50 to our device cost. It is easy to use and has Password protection, deletes from any device, and many more. It keeps improving itself.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We can use and store our professional files, easily protect them, share among team members, delete them from multiple devices if given permission, independent of device OS, and universal to mobile/ desktop. The memory allocated is unbeatable for this price.

Great source to drop large size files and photos

  • November 30, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It doesn't clog up your email and it's a fast and easy way to send and recieve large sized photos or file you would not be able to email or send otherwise. Highly recommend!
What do you dislike about the product?
You have to pay for extra storage once you reach a certain threshold. I quickly filled up my dropbox and unless you want to delete files permanently then you have to pay for upgraded storage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I send and recieve large photos and documents with my clients. It's great, especially for large photos. It retains the size and resolution without cutting down on quality. I use it every week and have never had any problems. You just invite via email who you want to share the files with and you can also choose if you want them just to "view" or be able to "edit".
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great for people sharing large files or photographers and social media companies.

Not Worth it - Google Drive is WAY better

  • November 30, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Not much of anything - I don't find it user-friendly at all. It never remembers my login information - I feel like I constantly have to re-set it up.
What do you dislike about the product?
it's navigation is not user-friendly. It constantly tells me I need to create a new account. I can never find where any of my downloads and uploads are. Google Drive is way easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
none - I really don't see any benefits to it. Especially if you are a gmail user -- it does not connect nicely with gmail and google drive. I have found it is only helpful for "some" larger files.
