Not as useful as Google Drive
What do you like best about the product?
I like the layout of documents when you first login. It is a very simple file system and easy to find things that I need. I also like the design of it, it is very pleasing to the eye with the color scheme and layout.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like the compatibility or the sharing. I have found that google drive is easier to use and has more features. I also pay for a premium service with google so I have a lot more space for no additional cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I sometimes have to access files of images that people send to me through dropbox. I definitely can't stop using it but it is not a preferred way that I like to work.

Great Product!
What do you like best about the product?
DropBox is a great and easy way to share files among colleagues worldwide. Easy to use and very user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue that I seem to have with the software is if you do not save the folder in your favorites, it can take some time trying to find it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With the software, we can share larger files than most email servers allow a person to send. This has permitted real-time updates for programs that we are working on.
An expensive and less secure data storage solution
What do you like best about the product?
1. Integrations: Dropbox offers a lot of third-party integrations, including canva, slack, zapier, otter, etc. It does make your life a little easier.
2. Collaboration: I find it easier to collaborate with my team on dropbox because of features like Dropbox paper, which allows us to leave comments, use emojis and stickers.
3. Sharing: Dropbox is better in terms of Data loss protection because it allows admin to turn off uploads for users. They'll be able to access and download files they are authorized to.

1. Pricing is far higher than other alternatives available in the market for the same storage space.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were looking for a secure and scalable cloud file storage, sharing, and collaboration tool. We assessed multiple platforms, and Dropbox was one of them. Being in a media company, we had a lot of third-party integrations for efficient working, and dropbox enabled us to do that. We were able to save a lot of time and money because dropbox became our default file storage and sharing platform. However, we did experience a breach because of the lack of security features.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend businesses to assess all the security threats properly before investing in dropbox. There are a lot of good alternatives available in the market now, which are not only more secure than Dropbox but also cost a lot less.
Very Good File Sharing and Sync
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that it is very reliable and fast is the best benefit. You can also manage the shares to be local or in the cloud and even drill down by file or folder. This makes it easy to not locally sync the items you don't need locally
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the synch gets locked up and doesn't always communicate back up to the cloud. But if you pay attention to the notifications, you will be alerted that this is an issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have several teams spread out across the world and we have a ton of different large projects that need to be downloaded and uploaded constantly. Dropbox has allowed us to share all of our data seamlessly.
A great tool for file saving and sharing
What do you like best about the product?
I'm a big fan of the ability to share docs seamlessly with those who have dropbox accounts; it makes the management and collaboration of those files really easy to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not a fan of the fact that when you share files and folders, it takes up space on the other users' accounts as well as your own. I feel like if the files are in my dropbox and I'm sharing, it shouldn't affect that person's account storage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It made keeping my files organized and traceable very easy. I've also been a big fan of the ability to access them anywhere and add to them anywhere. Keeping important documents at my fingertips in a secure space is wonderful.
Dropbox is the Answer of your Safe storage..!!
What do you like best about the product?
Using dropbox till date has been an amazing experience, especially during a time when everyone is working from home/remotely, dropbox serves as a lifeline for official work where you stay connected & updated on your work using Dropbox.
What do you dislike about the product?
At our company, we all use Dropbox and have never considered other cloud storage options. Nothing to complain about. Everything is fine & smooth with this tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Updating decks are quite easy and you don't have to send the ppts again & again. Just update it and the work is done.
- You can keep real-time tracking and see who changed what in your file in the team.
- Sending links of the folder is enough if the person is in your team & you have given access,
- During virtual training & inductions, Sharing & sending the specific files are easy.

Great way to easily and securely share files
What do you like best about the product?
Great way to easily and securely share files of any kind, securely, across your organization. If you need to access shared files that multiple people are working on, it's particularly useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I sometimes have gotten emails about having not logged into my account in a long time and being prompted to do so before it's deleted. This happens, even though I use Dropbox fairly regularly.

International Development Project Management Relies on Dropbox
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the way that the Dropbox can integrate with remote drives so documents stored in online dropboxes can also be accessed through finder winders. This way, files can be very easily shared between colleagues while working remote, but also organized well in the corporation's existing folders. I also found it helpful to have audit logs accessible to see who made specific changes and uploaded files in order to keep track of edits and versions. This also clarified confusion over which version was finalized and who had reviewed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it difficult to sync the files saved to my computer drive with the dropbox drive sometimes, and this lack of confidence makes it time consuming to double check that files are syncing and viewable across office.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has been incredibly helpful while working remote and across many offices. Companies with multiple offices, internationally can securely share files. It also provides a backup to file storage on each individual's computer in case it were to crash, which is a very helpful backstop. The ability to set up file following also helps with the problem of version control when multiple employees are working on a document at once.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would highly recommend using Dropbox because of the way that it can be synced to folders in the computer drive. This enables employees to save their files in 1 place, in their finder window folders, and ensure that they are simultaneously backed up online and also visible to colleagues across the organization. Other key features of Dropbox are the file following setting, so that while multiple employees are working on a document they will be alerted when someone makes changes. This helps ensure changes are tracked and version control is clear.
Cloud storage for experienced user
What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexibility of this app. It allows user to upload files seamlessly in to specific folders. And its features are easy to use and looks secured in the front end.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are couple of things I don't like. for example, this application is not user friendly for starters but if you are familiar and this is a good app. Another thing I don't like about this app is that it's kinda slow

It allows me to upload files for my cloud use. I can access the added files from my comfort zone which is really good. It helps users like me to store files only with privacy and sharing options

If you are looking for cloud storage for your personal files then this is your best option. As this product has good privacy and upload options.

None as of now. I like how Google markets its Google Drive to users, but we should also be aware of the privacy issues, so yeah, Dropbox should also use some of its marketing tools to come at the top.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to use, convenient, and app-based mobility allows us to store and share our pictures, videos, and documents all in one place. So I can share big files with my friends and store anything for personal use.

Dropbox is suitable for people or organizations who want storage plus privacy in their own hands. Easy to install and signup and usage are very common these days in the age of digital storage.
