Effortless File Sharing and Sync with Dropbox
What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely love using Dropbox for its effortless sharing capabilities, which allow me to share content like photos and videos with clients without requiring them to log in or create an account. It's incredibly user-friendly, and I appreciate how quick and easy it is to upload from my computer into the Dropbox folder and access the files anywhere, whether online or offline. Another feature I find amazing is how seamlessly Dropbox syncs with both my phone and computer, providing me easy access to my content anytime, anywhere. The setup process was a breeze, thanks to the comprehensive instructions and follow-up emails that ensured I was using it correctly, making it easy even for those without an IT background. The layout and intuitive design contribute to its ease of use, enriching my overall experience. I particularly enjoy the generous storage capacity Dropbox offers, with two terabytes compared to the one terabyte provided by my previous service, OneDrive, which significantly supports my storage needs. I also find fast sharing from any device, whether my phone or computer, extremely beneficial for my workflow. Overall, these features, combined with the platform's smooth operation and robust functionality, have made Dropbox an invaluable tool for my content-sharing needs.

Reliable Document Access, Needs Better Sync
What do you like best about the product?
I love the e-signing capability in Dropbox, which makes handling documents much easier for me. The ability to access Dropbox on both my computers and on the cloud via my phone is incredibly convenient, allowing me to retrieve documents from anywhere at any time. This level of accessibility is the best benefit for me. I also appreciate that I've been able to purchase extra space, which ensures I have plenty of room for my needs. I find Dropbox much easier to use compared to alternatives like OneDrive, especially in terms of user-friendliness and document-sharing capabilities. The option to directly share or attach documents is more straightforward in Dropbox, whereas with OneDrive, sharing often involves links, which isn't as preferable. Overall, Dropbox's ease of use and accessibility make it an indispensable tool for my personal and professional life.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have some confusion about the syncing feature in Dropbox. It seems to indicate that there's not enough space on my desktop computer, even though when I check, there is space available. This makes it difficult for me to understand why my desktop isn't able to sync everything onto the drive. Additionally, I think the syncing process should be more user-friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox provides essential document accessibility and e-signing capabilities, enabling me to access and sign documents from anywhere. Despite some syncing issues, Dropbox remains my go-to for storing and sharing documents due to its user-friendly design compared to OneDrive.
Effortless Sharing, But Storage Limits Are Restrictive
What do you like best about the product?
Easy sharing; sending and receiving files is the main use of dropbox
What do you dislike about the product?
limits on storage are very tight. This prevents significant usage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing files seamlessly. Cloud storage integrated in pc
Great for Large Uploads, But Inconsistent Time Estimates
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to upload multiple documents, as well as large file recordings. I also like how easy it is to use because you just need to drop the file, and then it does its thing. I have not needed to use it many times, but when I do, it is very easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of accurate time for uploading a large file varies from 1 hour to 5 minutes, and then increases to 3 hours.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it allows me to upload big files (videos) and lets me see it in high quality.
Effortless File Sharing and Seamless Integration with Dropbox
What do you like best about the product?
Sending large files through email every day can be a hassle when the attachments are too big, but Dropbox makes this process much easier by allowing me to send files quickly, regardless of their size. I use Dropbox on a daily basis and have never encountered any problems with uploading, file size limitations, or sharing files. The transition to Dropbox was simple thanks to its fast setup, and the desktop version offers convenient quick-share features right in my toolbar, which I can access from anywhere on my computer. It integrated seamlessly into my daily workflow, and I’ve never needed to contact customer support, which I find impressive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I use the free version, and the main drawback for me is the limit on how many files I can upload. However, this isn't a major issue since I can simply delete files I no longer need and upload new ones as necessary.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to upload and share large image files on a daily basis, and Dropbox makes this process much easier compared to having to adjust file sizes just to email them. Previously, we had to send each file individually by email due to their size, which resulted in sending over 50 emails every day—a very time-consuming task. With Dropbox, I can now link files directly to our shared document, eliminating the need to send any emails at all.
Simplified Document Sharing with Dropbox
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how simple it was to set up Dropbox when I first started using it. The process was straightforward and hassle-free, which made it easy for me to begin integrating it into my work routine seamlessly. One of the standout features for me is the ability to send large documents easily to other firms, which is a crucial aspect of my work. This functionality has streamlined my workflow, allowing for efficient and effective communication and file sharing with external partners. Additionally, I'm highly satisfied with Dropbox as evidenced by my rating of ten out of ten when asked how likely I would recommend it to others. This high rating reflects my overall positive experience with Dropbox, including its reliability and the critical role it plays in my professional tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Dropbox to send large documents easily to other firms, which simplifies sharing and collaboration.
Seamless Integration and Custom Sync, But Can Be Laggy Under Pressure
What do you like best about the product?
I like how seamlessly it integrates into the file explorer. Also the fact I can access all my files from anywhere. The ability to customize on desktop what files sync and what don’t is a huge draw for me
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a bit laggy at times. Clicking from one file or folder to another doesn’t seem as snappy as it could be. In crunch times that can be frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox solves the problem of accessing my files wherever I am. The ability to share large files with others benefits me professionally as there is not an easy way to share files natively with others benefits users on external networks and even internal ones.
Professional development manager
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can share links with anyone and do not need the other person to create an account. We use it to distribute handouts during session. We use this at least 10 times a week
What do you dislike about the product?
If multiple people create shared folders it can be tricky to tell who actually "owns" the folder. When someone leaves or changes access file can accidentally get unshared or lost unless ownership is transferred properly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing handouts to the public! It's so easy!
Seamless Integration with MacOS and Reliability Makes Using Dropbox a Pleasure
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part of Dropbox is how nicely it integrates into my computer's file system (MacOS). It's fantastic being able to access my Dropbox folder multiple ways: Menu bar shortcut, Finder, or browser. I use all 3 methods and find it to be a seamless, reliable experience which is important for me because I don't just use Dropbox for personal use, but also for work as a freelancer sending deliverables to people I work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much that I dislike about Dropbox! The only thing I can think of would be that the free tier is very stingy when it comes to storage, especially in 2025 when file sizes can be so large. I understand that the goal is to offer people a way to try the service before spending money, but it still is a frustrating hurdle.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My work involves sending large files to companies that I'm contracted with so Dropbox is a fantastic solution for delivering files without having to worry about email file size or operating system compatibility.
