Seamless Cloud Storage with Effortless Setup

  • October 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Dropbox for over ten years, primarily for storing all my files and information in the cloud. I appreciate how easy Dropbox is to use compared to other options like OneDrive, Google Cloud Drive, and Amazon. The setup process was straightforward and seamless, which is one reason I implemented it across all my computers. Dropbox effectively solves my cloud storage needs, allowing me to keep my files organized and accessible via its app. One feature that has particularly stood out is its capability with passwords, which was a significant factor for me continuing to use Dropbox. Overall, Dropbox's ease of use, organization capabilities, and value-added features like password storage make it my primary cloud storage solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would prefer if Dropbox had continued supporting its password storage feature as it was one of the reasons I remained with the service. The removal or unbundling of this option is disappointing and it would be beneficial to have it reinstated or included as part of the subscription package.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Dropbox for cloud storage, solving my need for organizing and accessing files from any device. Its ease of setup and password storage feature keeps me renewing my subscription.

Valuable Storage with a Cluttered Interface

  • October 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I truly appreciate Dropbox's storage capabilities, which allow me to upload and store files efficiently. This feature is especially beneficial for storing and sharing work-related files, providing an excellent alternative to Google Drive. With Dropbox being synonymous with cloud file sharing for many years, it has proven to be a reliable solution when dealing with users outside the Google ecosystem. The laptop client is another highlight; having Dropbox installed on my laptop means I don't have to rely on the browser, allowing for seamless file modification and updates without the need to download and re-upload files. This integration with my Mac ecosystem and its compatibility with Microsoft Office software makes Dropbox an indispensable part of my workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I struggle with the current complexity of Dropbox's interface. The variety of features and numerous buttons that I rarely use make it cumbersome and difficult to navigate. Initially, Dropbox was much simpler, and I had no trouble uploading or sharing files. However, as more features have been added, it has become more challenging to use efficiently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox solves file exchange issues outside the Google ecosystem, ideal for those not using Google services. The ample storage and seamless file updates enhance my workflow, making it my first alternative for cloud file sharing and storage.
