Can't imagine running my business without it
What do you like best about the product?
Been using Dropbox for about 7-8 years across my business, and it's one of those tools I rarely think about - which is exactly what you want from cloud storage.
The sync speed is what keeps me here. Files update instantly across my phone, laptop, and any device I'm working on. When I'm collaborating with others, everyone sees the latest version in real time.
The version history feature has saved me multiple times. I've accidentally deleted sections of Excel files, saved them, and only realized days or even weeks later. Being able to roll back to previous versions is incredibly valuable when you're dealing with important business documents.

What do you dislike about the product?
They keep pushing additional features and services through pop-ups and notifications. I get it from a business perspective, but I just want reliable storage. The constant reminders about other tools I don't need can be distracting.

Cloud storage and file organization.
It's a DROP in the BOXXXXX

storage space inadequate and its premium plans are expensive
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
users relied on multiple storage devices, email attachments, or complex network setups to manage their files, leading to disorganization and difficulty accessing files from different locations.
now they provide a central cloud storage location where users can store, access, and manage all their files.

It's pretty easy to use and can be the hub for transfer and send documents
What do you like best about the product?
It's intuitive and easy to use. It's been one of my favorite tools to send documents to my clients who has restrictive access to WeTransfer or Google Drive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe that you only have 2GB on free version, but it's a business, I understand this cannot be free.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can send documents to my clients who have restrictive access to another tools like WeTransfer or has difficult access to Google Drive, since they are a Microsoft Teams users.
Dropbox is the first and only service I have payed in 22 years of research and development.
What do you like best about the product?
I think the seamless file sharing support that dropbox between Linux MacOS and Windows.
Since I started using dropbox I never lost a file that I was working at. That by itself is worth the yearly dropbox fee.
I also like that you can bring back files erased by mistake.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the file sync can take really long time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use github for software management. I guess as all the rest of the world.
git commit and push can help keeping versioning and backup of your files, however, sometimes when working locally, the seamless file saving to the cloud is a real saver.
If you by mistake erase the file, you can bring it back based on date and time.
If you are working in documents, excel sheets or something else than software development, dropbox is a very good tool to keep versioning of your file and a safe backup in the cloud.

Able to save & access files to upload - compatible with many sources
What do you dislike about the product?
There not a dislike I can think of at the moment
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With uploads
Easiest way to transfer data between clients
What do you like best about the product?
It is the most efficient way to share deliverables sized over 25 MG. Its much more efficient and has better optics when the files upload instantly instead of being to large to gmail.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not all clients have an account. As a result, there is the akward step of asking them to download so that we can file share
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox is solving the frustrations incurred when sending clients large deliverables. Prior to drop box, there were many cases where the files we attempted to share with a client were too large, therefor we encountered uncomfortable delays. The initial solutions - generating a google file and sharing with the client had far to many issues, as a result we shifted to dropbox.
Great Product with a Few Drawbacks
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of sharing files and folders. Sharing controls are intuitive, great for teams. As a solopreneur, it's easy to share files with clients and business partners.
What do you dislike about the product?
With competition from Google and iCloud, the storage is somewhat limited, and paid plans can be pricey. It's more convenient to use as it seems like a more popular platform. Also, like many cloud services, data privacy is a real concern.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest probelm that Dropbox solves is sharing large files. Email attachment sizes are limited so Dropbox solves that problem. Sharing files with custom permissions is nice as well. Overall, it saves time by making file sharing much easier.
Great tool for collaboration and information or file exchange
What do you like best about the product?
Love the ability to send files/documents to my team both internally, as well as to external partners. Whenever feedback is needed, my teammates can make suggestions, edit documents, and overall keep everything organized. I appreciate that Dropbox can be used frequently without many disruptions or errors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dropbox is a great tool, but have noticed some lag in upload speeds on a mobile device versus a desktop or laptop. I think the fee structure for Dropbox limits my entire team's ability to use, but we make it work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working across teams, on a variety of different projects to meet various deadlines and action items. Dropbox allows my team to edit, adjust, add, etc. at a moment's notice, which is super helpful as we try to meet tight deadlines.
