Replay Feature Shines, But Auto Sync Can Be Confusing
What do you like best about the product?
The thing I like the most about Dropbox is actually replay. I have found that it really works better than a lot of the competitors when leaving notes on the video timeline.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's confusing. Auto syncing can be frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
allows me to collaborate with people out of town, easily send files to my client. One thing that is really frustrating as well is the fact that it's really hard to add a password. It seems like it's different all the time. So many steps. I would prefer if I was able to add a password to a whole folder instead of having to add it to EACH link. This wastes a ton of time and adds more clicks on my wrist,
Great Alternative Backup, But Pricey Over Time
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I have a backup system other than iCloud or Google.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost. I don't like the amount I've had to pay for years. I've been a customer for over 15 years.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am writing a dissertation and Dropbox has been my virtual backup for my documents. I've relied on using it to store everything and I especially like that everything runs in the background.

The ease of setting up, including the installation of the PC app, makes initiating projects seamless. Dropbox's ability to organize folders efficiently is invaluable to keeping my work structured and accessible. I find the commenting feature on videos and audios to be exceptionally useful for providing feedback during collaborative projects. The backup feature is a true lifesaver, especially after losing a computer; it reassures me that my important files are always safe. Additionally, Dropbox offers good video preview quality with impressive speed, which is essential for reviewing media files effectively. The unexpected usefulness of e-signatures has become an integral part of my Dropbox experience, further enhancing its functionality. Integration with software like Unity and Ableton fuels creativity by simplifying project setups. Easy access to my files and the robust infrastructure of Dropbox strengthen my decision to continue using and recommending the platform.

It stores all of my essential documents, files, and recordings.

I don't like that a monthly subscription is required.

I don’t have to add my files to another cloud. I have easy access to my important information all in one place.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Dropbox has been a reliable solution for storing documents, photos, and videos for a very long time. The setup process is incredibly simple and straightforward, reflecting a very well-designed software that anyone can easily navigate. The functionality that allows me to keep a large amount of files in the cloud without having to store them on local devices is invaluable, as it saves a lot of space on all my devices. I find it easy to retrieve files and I'm particularly pleased with the printing capabilities and the scanning function, which are very good and convenient. I also use Dropbox to store my bass guitar sheet music in the cloud, which is quite handy. The straightforward installation and ease of use are significant aspects that would make me choose Dropbox again. Additionally, the ability to run movies in the cloud is a feature I appreciate, despite occasional codec issues. Overall, Dropbox is an essential tool for managing my digital content efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that sometimes Dropbox can't recognize certain video codecs, which forces me to download them and play on my laptop instead of playing directly. This requires additional steps that could be avoided if Dropbox supported a broader range of codecs.

Dropbox allows me to keep a large amount of files in the cloud, saving space on my devices and making file retrieval and scanning easy.

What do you like best about the product?
I find Dropbox incredibly useful for storing and sharing files, as well as reviewing them when necessary. The setup process was not difficult at all; it was pretty self-explanatory, which I value because it makes the initial experience smooth and hassle-free. Dropbox excels at making filing a lot easier for me, benefiting me in many ways by streamlining my workflow. File accessibility is one of the features I find most useful, as it's pretty easy to access my files anytime, which is essential for my needs. I feel confident in recommending Dropbox due to these benefits, and I would even consider purchasing it again if needed.

I would change some of the colors in Dropbox.

What do you like best about the product?
The integration with the local operating system makes it super simple to create folders and export and upload. This will always make life easier to implement things such as sharing files.

Sometimes it takes a while to sync when it has been offline for a while, no matter the internet speed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to share files with clients via a direct link and the download speed that provides.
Effortless File Sharing for Teams and Large Files
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use and share with co-workers, customers, and other remote users. Very helpful for those of us with large files to share.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. Works very well for me. I have nothing I dislike about Dropbox.

I'm now able to share large files effortlessly.

I love that I can upload photos and videos from my phone on the app and that I’m able to send clients folders pretty easily
