Effortless File Sharing, Pricey but Worth the 10/10
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Dropbox for its simplicity and ease of setup, which made the initial transition smooth and hassle-free. The flexibility it offers in sharing files is incredible, as I can easily add people to different files and directories. Dropbox's capability to handle the transfer of large files seamlessly solves major challenges for me, especially those files which couldn't be emailed. Furthermore, its user-friendly interface enhances my overall experience, making it very easy to use. I value the structured folder system that allows for efficient organization and management of documents. The ease of connecting Dropbox to our existing file folders stands out as a significant advantage, facilitating seamless integration into our workflow and ensuring enhanced productivity. Its core utility in file sharing and collaboration with our team is tremendously valuable.

I think it's too expensive.

I highly appreciate how effortlessly Dropbox handles large files and videos, especially when they are too big to be sent through traditional email formats. Overall, dropbox feels like the most professional of all cloud storage applications I've used. The functionality is robust and time-tested.

Dropbox, being able to provide more refined and complex file storage, is more prone to having bugs due to the implied complexity.

I store all of my project files for backups and basic universal access using dropbox.
Good for File Transfers, Needs Better Excel Integration

I have been using Dropbox for many years to store my files, and it significantly benefits me by addressing issues related to storage space and facilitating file transfers. One of the standout features is its capability for file transferring, which I find extremely useful, as it allows me to transfer files between different gadgets with ease. This feature greatly enhances my efficiency and workflow by simplifying the process of moving files from one device to another.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find setting up Dropbox to be a bit difficult initially, and I'm still getting used to it. I also experience issues when transferring files to Excel from Dropbox, as it sometimes doesn't allow it or isn't easy to do, which could be improved to make it more user-friendly. Additionally, I think the platform's appearance could be improved to make it more organized and easy to use. I would like the ability to view all files in a bird's eye view on one screen, with features for zooming and adjusting font size for better file management.

My favorite feature is that it’s interchangeable between computer and phone so I can quickly upload download pics and videos.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free size limit. Wish it was a bit larger for free but I get it. Gotta make money somewhere.

My work doesn’t allow us to connect device to the computer for syncing files. But Dropbox fills in that gap for me.

From the beginning, setting up Dropbox was fairly straightforward with no major challenges faced by the IT team, which made the transition seamless. One of the significant advantages of Dropbox is that it reduces the risk of data loss, as all data is stored on the server. This means that even if endpoint devices are lost or replaced, we do not lose our data. I also find the ease of sharing and collaboration to be a standout feature; there's no need to email documents and manually manage versions anymore, as everyone can work on the same copy simultaneously. Additionally, the choice of encryption for stored files enhances security, making me consider purchasing it again in the future. I also value the short learning curve, which ensures that new users can quickly become proficient in using the platform.
