Have had Dropbox both personally and professionally since it began.
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most is the simplicity of how it is used. I know my files are safely in the cloud and on my other devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to if there was a way to favorite certain folders that are used all the time in the early opening of the dropbox desktop app and mobile app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Putting all my important files safely in the cloud and the ability to access them easily.
Convenient to upload information from desktop computer.
What do you like best about the product?
The ease with which you can upload and download information.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the basic version had more bells and whistles, like a more customizable workspace.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ease in which we exchange project deliverable documents with clients and government agencies.
Couldn't do without it
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to organize many files and types of files from multiple team members - all of us remote. I'm not sure we could exist as a company without it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Seems like it takes some time and effort to access the files, on occasion - it presents the file in a window, and especially on photos, it can take some toggling back and forth.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Many team members can weigh in on the same project. We have a system in place so all know exactly where to look and how to access the files. Makes searching for specific detail easy.
Consistent satisfaction
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it allows me to share audio files privately with my clients. It is consistently dependable.
What do you dislike about the product?
The seemingly constant changes to the dashboard and the use of preimptive actions. I do not need help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of sharing large files in the cloud.
Essential service and reliable storage
What do you like best about the product?
I am now doing weekly backup of my laptop and desktop to Dropbox, rather than figure out how to have backup copies off site. The update of the backup files (150 Gb) occurs during idle times or during the night. I also like how all my files are available anywhere on any computer. I logged in from my accountant's office to provide a document they requested. Easy peasy.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a short time delay between saving a file and it being available on another computer. This is only a problem when I am using my laptop and am logged in to my desktop (as a printer server). Overall this is far superior over OneDrive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The updates are silent and never impede local software performance. Transfer of large files from my compuiters to the Dropbox cloud (like backups and .zip files of photographs) are also seamlessly transferred. There are no more error messages, no more work-arounds, no more freezes.

Ability to collaborate and comment/communicate is simple and user friendly

Free online storage could be better (more storage)

Making sharing possible!
What do you like best about the product?
I"m able to send documents that due to size, I would not be able to share otherwise, or for which I would have to do a 'work around' that would consume too much time (break documents into deliverable sections, etc.), and the ease of use for Dropbox makes it very appealing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any downside to Dropbox, so far it has allowed me to do what its intended, which is share documents that I normaly couldn't do just by sending them via regular email.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's allowing me to share construction plans and specifications in a very easy and reliable manner.
