  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the organization of the storage in their cloud. I love their little Docusign add on as well as their connectivity to other apps. They’ve been around for years and I just watched them grow.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer support I still like to be able to get someone on a telephone
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’ve always been able to depend on dropbox for storage. Everything I have for years is stored in dropbox and I use the 3 TB plan. I love that it’s encrypted as well.

Quick, Easy, Affordable

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to use when you add the extension to your desktop on your laptop or computer it's all connected to your desktop it seamless and quick you just drop files in and pull files out and it's smooth and easy to use. It's also very affordable for somebody who does freelance work like myself
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd say the only thing I don't like is that I get confused sometimes if I pull files off of my desktop is it going to remove them from the drive and vice versa. I also think they don't send enough communications in terms of your account status and extra features you may be able to add or remove.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox gives me a fast and easy way to share large files with clients or potential clients which is something that a lot of other storage systems don't allow or you have to pay a very high premium for.

Dropbox: A Reliable and Straightforward Cloud Storage Solution

  • May 30, 2025
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox has been a solid choice for cloud-based document management, offering a simple and intuitive interface that makes file storage and sharing effortless. Its value pricing ensures accessibility for individuals and businesses alike, providing a seamless way to manage documents without unnecessary complexity.
The platform excels in ease of use, with drag-and-drop functionality and automatic synchronization across devices, making it a convenient tool for professionals who need quick access to their files. Additionally, its integration with various third-party applications enhances workflow efficiency.
However, Dropbox does have some limitations. One of the least helpful aspects is its limited free storage, which caps at 2GB—significantly lower than competitors like Google Drive and OneDrive. Additionally, the lack of full device backups means users must rely on alternative solutions for comprehensive data protection. While Dropbox offers strong security features, it does not provide end-to-end encryption, which may be a concern for users handling sensitive information.
Overall, Dropbox remains a reliable and cost-effective cloud storage solution, ideal for those who prioritize simplicity and efficiency in document management. While it has some drawbacks, its straightforward approach and seamless integration make it a worthwhile choice for many users.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use. Can install a desktop app so dropbox can be used like any other folder in windows explorer. This is synced up across my account.
What do you dislike about the product?
Frequency of sign ins. Not really an issue just seems like it is frequent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps share my work with others very easily. It helps keep my work synced when I am using files in other locations (remote, ipad, field, etc)

Better than OneDrive

  • May 30, 2025
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox has allowed me to share files with others WITHOUT corrupting my computer like OneDrive does.
What do you dislike about the product?
Fortunately, you can turn it off, but it likes to remain resident on your computer. I want to use it when I want to use it, but not when I don't.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have friends and clients all over the country. Dropbox is good when a file is too large for email.

What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Dropbox for years now, and it's consistently made my life easier. I love how it syncs files across my devices—I can start working on something at home and pick it up later from my phone or work computer without issues.
Sharing large files with clients or teammates is super straightforward, and I really appreciate the version history feature for those times I need to recover an older file. It's not overly complicated, which is exactly what I want in a storage tool. Overall, it's been a dependable part of my workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. I have consistently had good experiences.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox keeps me organized and saves time by letting me access and share files from anywhere. It solves the hassle of version control and juggling storage across devices. Everything is in one place, backed up, and easy to collaborate on—especially helpful when I'm working remotely or on the go.

Dropbox was the answer to my eternal search when it debuted. Being able to access docs anywhere was and is a dream come true.

Ability to access docs on the go from anywhere I can get wifi.
