Dropbox User Experience Feedback

  • June 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate how easy it is to upload files, organize them into folders, and generate shareable links. The interface is intuitive, and the overall experience feels smooth and efficient. The ability to securely share large files is incredibly useful. I can easily send files to trusted individuals, knowing they can access and download them safely. It's also convenient for distributing non-confidential materials to larger groups without any hassle.
What do you dislike about the product?
Upload and download speeds can be inconsistent. A few years ago, performance felt faster and more reliable, so it’s a bit frustrating when things lag now. Occasionally, my own files get flagged as copyrighted content—even though I’m the rightful owner. Resolving these issues with customer support has been challenging, both in terms of reaching someone and proving ownership. It makes the process more frustrating than it needs to be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox solves the problem of sharing, storing, and organizing large files in a secure and accessible way. It eliminates the need for email attachments or unreliable third-party transfer tools by offering a centralized platform where I can upload, manage, and share content quickly.

For me, the biggest benefit is the ease of collaboration, especially when working with multiple people or sending large files that would otherwise be hard to transfer. It also helps me keep my files organized and accessible from anywhere, which is essential for staying productive across different projects and devices.
