Evaluation of Dropbox for Business and Personal Use
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Dropbox is its smart integration across third-party tools it quietly powers collaboration by syncing with apps like Slack, Zoom, and Google Workspace without disrupting workflows. It's not just storage; it’s a silent enabler of productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Dropbox excels in storage and syncing, there’s room to enhance its data visualization or activity insights, which could help users better understand file engagement and access trends.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox solves the challenge of cloud content collaboration by offering a centralized space where teams can co-edit, share feedback, and manage assets seamlessly. For video editing, it simplifies file handoffs and version tracking, ensuring editors and stakeholders stay aligned without bulky email threads or transfers.
We use this to organize all of our files
What do you like best about the product?
Works great organizing files and keeping them all in one place for a team. We have multiple people who need access to the same files at the same time and this makes it easy to collaborate and keep organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be a little glitchy but that happens with any platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have multiple people on our team who need access to the same files, this helps us keep organized and share all of our content seamlessly and be able to access it from anywhere.
Effortless File Management and Sharing for Creative Projects
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is incredibly reliable for managing, organizing, and sharing large creative files. We use it daily to store project folders, archive video edits, and deliver high-resolution assets to clients. The interface is clean and simple, and the file sharing experience is fast, intuitive, and professional—which is crucial when working with stakeholders outside our organization.
The smart sync feature is also a game-changer. It lets us manage heavy folders without filling up local drives, which is essential when dealing with layered motion graphics, video exports, and raw asset libraries.

What do you dislike about the product?
The search feature could be more intelligent—finding files in deeply nested folders isn't always as quick as I’d like. Also, while Dropbox Paper has potential, we tend to use other tools for documentation and collaboration because Paper doesn’t fully match the speed and flexibility of Google Docs or Notion yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox solves the constant challenge of secure, organized, and fast file access and delivery in a remote, creative environment. Whether we’re collaborating with freelancers or handing off deliverables to clients, Dropbox gives us a centralized, dependable platform to work from.
It removes the friction of managing large files over email or chat apps, and allows us to deliver work faster and more professionally. We’ve saved countless hours by using Dropbox as our creative file hub instead of juggling multiple drives or ad hoc platforms.
