I have used Mixpanel, Clevertap and Mo engage. I like the chart display section.

Funnel analytics should have group by user properties. Currently it supports only amplitude properties.

No complaints. It's overall a complete analytics tool
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a small team and we needed a way to track how our app was performing. Amplitude helped us visualising the data that we were receiving and discover insights, like how users are getting retained, what percentage of users are returning users, what events they perform the most etc
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a great tool for product analytics. But it isn't relevant to marketers.
Amplitude helped Hybank to go to a another level of Analysis.
What do you like best about the product?
I'm Head of Customer Success at Hybank, a brazilian financial institute that prodives digital bank services to formal and unformal enterpreneus. With Amplitude i can create cohorts to see how is going my operation,if my clients are going to churn and much more. It helps Hybank to step to another level oh analytics.
What do you dislike about the product?
Id like to have the opportunity to go depper on my operation, but sometimes same datas get flat.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can predict problems on my operation before it really happens, We can have a better view where are ours gaps, and solve the problem before it goes to our entire base of clients.

If you are looking for a easy and clean plataform to host your datas, Amplitude is the one :)

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use through its SDKs. Creating graphs and dashboard is very easy, even for non-tech people.
The time required to get insights up and running is very low and straight forward.

Sometimes when you need more custom graphs is not very obvious how to get it right. Nevertheless, their documentation is full of examples and easy to follow.
I also don’t like that pricing is not clear on their site. You need to reach a representative to get a custom quote.

Getting live insights for our App. We have learnt a great deal about our users !

The flexibility to build really nuanced reports based on any user properties, events and event properties you have tagged.

What do you dislike about the product?
Lacks ability to create "tables" with specific data rules like you can do in Tableau or Looker
Need more ability to graph out additional values on single charts (ie cant see multiple lines for various conversion rates in multi step funnel reports, cant create single charts that show both counts and sums of properties like one with unique users and revenue sums as separate lines)
Needs more flexibility and features around revenue reports
Paid plans get quite expensive
Async support on entry level plans can be clunky and slow

Quick and Easy Access to Data for Non Technical Employees
What do you like best about the product?
We have data coming in from our database and from customer.io our email marketing platform. If one of my team members creates an email and sends it out we are able to analyze the funnel and the results of that in a deeper more meaningful way. I am able to put this in the hands of employees who are not too technical and they are able to easily figure it out.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few things I haven't been able to figure out yet like grouping email addresses for the same user to look at a funnel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We definitely want our employees to have easier access to data and this solves that problem. We also want to combine data from different data sources. I also can make very simple reports quickly to analyze the success of something

Sometimes it seems to complicated. Also some problems with revenue tracking. It can be more informative and support currency conversion.

The event timeline and the way you can easily create charts and cohorts are great. It adapts very well to your needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting everything up and learning can take a little bit of time. The learning curve is a bit steep, but it normal for a solution this complete.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can set up our KPIs and track them with Amplitude. It also helps us understand the main issues our users run into.
Amplitude has very generous pricing compared to other products in the space.

Quickly analyzing data sent from Segment.

They don't have good debugging tools for custom formulas. If you fail to write a good one, it just tells you "unable to load the chart"

We needed a BI tool to visualize our product usage. The best thing about Amplitude is that it plays best with Segment.
Setup has been a little complex but onboarding team is great
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude has beautiful charts and really helpful staff! Everything is customizable which is good and bad. The onboarding team (helping to instrument the product) is really thorough and supportive. The team seems invested in giving us the time and energy it takes to get the product installed correctly. I'm not sure what happens after the initial implementation, I have reached out to the general support team once and they were fine, the onboarding team definitely holds your hand through the process more. It seems they take a "train the trainer" approach to implementation, so we may have gaps once we leave this initial install phase, but so far so good.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool seems a little intense to navigate. We have some base metrics installed but need a session with Amplitude to understand how to make dashboards. Everything is customizable, there are no out-of-the-box charts. We had a super strong technical person who was involved in our sales and discovery pitches, it was my understanding he would also help us onboard but he seemed done once we signed. The team they passed us off to has been great, it was a little surprising since the sales and tech deep dives we did in the sales calls were so informed about our needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed analytics with a vendor that would be HIPAA compliant. GA would not work for us, because of the security needs we have in the health space, but we needed all of the functionality of GA.

This needs to belong to someone one - given their "train the trainer" approach and the investment that needs to be made to collecting data and goals in the onboarding process.
