Awesome Experience Using Amplitude
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about amplitude is to create a number of different types of charts as per your need which actually helps us to track customer experience and improve our product and it is effortless to implement the charts.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no such downside but yeah chart types can be improved further.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By using amplitude, we are able to track our customer experience and journey on our product, and with those data we are improving our product to meet customer needs.
A great and easy tool for Product Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
It's very user-friendly, and I love the interface. I'm learning every day new features.
What do you dislike about the product?
As any other Product Analytics tools, for a beginner, it's sometimes challenging to identify the best ways to gather the data you need as you have a lot of different possiblities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having an easy access to a lot of different segments and parameters.
Great Product that beats previous analytics and experimentation software we've had
What do you like best about the product?
Prior to Amplitude, we were using 3 pieces of software for analytics, experimentation, and personalization. Amplitude rolls all three of these into one product, at a price that was noticeably cheaper. Amplitude also easily connects to our dataset and salesforce, which gives us much deeper analytics than front-end interactions (although it does that well)
Amplitude integrations were easy to set up, we connected to Segment without issue.
The charts are easy to create and I really like the anomaly and forecast charts. The emails I get that allow for root-cause analysis has been super useful. I check Amplitude daily.
I've found generally speaking the responsiveness of support to be decent and the self-serve portal is very easy to navigate. Away from that, there's loads of official and unofficial YouTube videos that are easy to discover

What do you dislike about the product?
One of the things I'd like to be able to see, which exists in Salesforce, is whether we're on track/on-target. Amplitude won't let you set KPIs and then report based on them. Being able to add them to a dashboard would be so useful to those who regularly check the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Amplitude to understand how prospects and customers navigate from PoC to success. We use this to create look-alike campaigns to drive better conversion.

Powerful, Easy To Use But Lacks Customer Support
What do you like best about the product?
1. Ease of use and streamlining workflows: Amplitude is very intuitive to use and I can create reports/dashboards which can be shared across stakeholders and different teams 2. Depth of analytics: Amplitude has really powerful setup to define events and create different data views for the same. Using this, I can now view metrics which help me quantify how users are using my product. 3. Powerful A/B analytics post implementation: We can view the performance of all our A/Bs experiments in just a few seconds and real time. 4. Super easy to validate events: The event explorer extension of amplitude is one of the best event streaming tools I have used and it makes my job super easy to verify the events when the developers have implemented the event.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. Slow communication: The amplitude team has been very slow in getting back to us when we face some issue with the product usage and implementation. This hampers our timeline and is a very draining experience. 2. Overwhelming for a first user: Amplitude is a very powerful tool but it can become really overwhelming for a user coming to the platform for the first time as there are so many features present in the same page. 3. Lack of cross platform analytics: Amplitude lacks the ability to connect other analytics tool like Hotjar etc to understand user behaviour.

Amplitude has been an essential tool in making data-driven decisions
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude Analytics supports multiple areas of our business. I use it frequently across many projects. It is customizable and allows me to easily copy Dashboards and create larger projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform can be a bit confusing for the beginner and takes a bit of time to learn the features and capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have discrepencies in data and reporting on other platforms that we use and Amplitude is the most reliable source. It also updates MUCH faster than other platforms giving us data in a timely manner.

The rapid creation of new dashes and ease of event insertion

User Journeys feature is very clearly still a beta feature and does not allow for exclusion of irrelevant events

I like that anyone can use it, from the development team to the marketing team. Its easy to create dashboards, funnels, and user cohorts. Its really easy to analyze data
What do you dislike about the product?
Finding a user can be sometimes a little annoying if you try to use the mail or the phone. In the format email = mail

Knowing the an event is not being send from the app or the backend

What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude is great for being able to aggregate the most important data inside a single place and to be able to run important analysis.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of a learning curve to using Amplitiude.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having one place where I can see the most important pieces of data and run analysis between them.

The drag-and-drop style of making charts makes it very easy to quickly visualize your data
What do you dislike about the product?
If you are looking for certain specific variations of your metrics it is not always easy to create that in Amplitude through the UI. I find myself going into the raw data instead.

I am able to visualize the user journey through easy-to-make flow charts
