Powerful analytics that a non-data analyst can use
What do you like best about the product?
The depth of chart creation capabilities is amazing
What do you dislike about the product?
At larger organizations, definitions for various events can become complex and messy. There isn't an easy way (that I know of) to make it clear how certain filters and events are defined
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ampltiude helps us understand how well are marketing assets are performing across our core channels. Website, content and in-app. I'm able to easily see where we can improve in our conversion funnel to better allocate resources.
A powerful tool to track and understand user behavior
What do you like best about the product?
What I love most is how deeply it lets you explore user journeys. It helps me see where users drop off, how they interact with our features, and measure the impact of our marketing efforts.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface can feel a bit overwhelming at first, especially for team members who aren’t familiar with analytics concepts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude helps solve one of the biggest challenges in product marketing: understanding what users actually do inside the product. Instead of relying on assumptions or scattered feedback, I can clearly see how users navigate the app, where they drop off, which features they engage with, and what leads to activation.
Amplitude Analytics good scalability
What do you like best about the product?
Convenient to visualize data. Good scalability and a wide variety of charts
What do you dislike about the product?
Perhaps the cost of this product is for small agencies
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude Analytics helps businesses understand user behavior by providing real-time insights into product interactions and customer journeys. This enables companies to optimize their digital experiences, improve retention, and make data-driven decisions to drive growth
finally able to see data we're wanting to see
What do you like best about the product?
We have a lot of tools integrated here, but for the first time, we're able to really understand and visualize some of the biggest gaps we've had in marketing
What do you dislike about the product?
there's a slight learning curve, but even so I'd say it's really user friendly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
showing some conversation data that includes foot traffic results
Great for use into how product is used
What do you like best about the product?
Dashboards to see step by step on where people drop out
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's confusing to use and navigate
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Seeing where users make it to in the product
Great Product
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude has great visualisations, easy to use interface and great support. Compared to similar tools, their knowledge sharing sessions have been insightful and amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing serious discovered yet. The team has dealt with minor issues swiftly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude provides rollup tracking for our digital assets and real-time data streaming. The interface is easy to use, and the dashboard and visualisations are intuitive and easy to navigate, with AI-assisted queries. Team collaboration is also great within the platform as there are spaces for teams to manage and access their projects.
One of the standout features is the ability to present analysis in the form of content overviews without leaving the platform. This allows members of organisations to get concise summaries of complex analysis in an easy-to-read format.

Product analytics state of the art
What do you like best about the product?
I am using Amplitude on a daily basis. I can do everything that I want with Amplitude: funnels, retention charts, daily users (broken down by platform), user breakdown by property, monetisation analytics, anonymous analytics (it's much, much better than competitors), the integration is easy and well-documented (way better than competitors), the community forum is superb and very helpful. Cohorts are easy to create and manage, it's VERY easy to upload users to them and I can filter users out in the most quirky way. I can handle errors on Amplitude's side very easily (i.e. merge events together when events names are sent incorrectly, same for properties). Amplitude also works quite fast. Export to data warehouse is generally good and all the properties that I need are sent.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost of the product. Automatic events like "new user" and "start session" and filtering for first time events work in a really inconvenient and opaque way. Poor support on subscription tiers lower than Growth. LTV charts are very opaque and don't seem to reflect reality. Integration with AppsFlyer is awful (although that's probably AppsFlyer's problem). The relationship between charts, dashboards and projects is very illogical. It's not obvious from the interface how users are assigned to groups when I group by properties: do we pick properties at the time of the event or the last stored properties from the user (yes, the answer is in the documentation but it should be in the UI). We may have been on a rather low subscription plan but Amplitude's account manager wasn't very helpful It is not possible to have a time range more than 365 days for most purposes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It tells me what users do in our web and mobile app. I use it to figure out what features to roll out (by analysing our AB tests) and who are our most paying users
Great product for analytics, but hard to implement and maintain
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude provides a powerful, flexible analytics platform that enables deep exploration of product usage data. The cohorting, retention, and funnel analysis tools are robust and extremely useful for understanding user behavior and guiding product decisions. I especially appreciate the user-friendly interface for non-technical stakeholders and the clear visualizations that help drive alignment across teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest challenge with Amplitude is implementation and long-term maintenance. Instrumenting events requires a high degree of coordination between product, engineering, and analytics. Even with good planning, schema drift and inconsistent naming conventions tend to creep in over time, making it harder to trust and interpret the data. Maintaining clean tracking requires significant ongoing effort.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude helps us answer key product questions around activation, engagement, and retention. It’s instrumental in helping us identify drop-off points in our funnel and run A/B tests with better insight into downstream impact. By democratizing access to product analytics, it empowers PMs and designers to make data-informed decisions without always relying on a data team.
Great for exporting reports
What do you like best about the product?
I like that there are suggested AI generated chartt building capabilities. its really quick and easy to get started.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, not the best with integrating into other tools
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating charts so we can better segment and outreach to our userbase
Simple to use and critical to understanding the details of your product
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Amplitude is that it equips users across a wide spectrum of technical expertise to self serve on critical business insights. The learning curve is very minimal and there is always more to learn and explore about the broad set of features. I use the tool all day long for quick and easy directional insights while also keeping a core of always-on dashboards that educate and drive my team's daily strategy. Having flexibility to work with both saved and custom cohorts as a non-technical individual saves the entire business resource allocation.
What do you dislike about the product?
The most common friction points using Amplitude are within how much opportunity you have to customize visualizations. For example, I have sometimes found myself wishing that I could create combination charts using the segmentation feature, but currently Amplitude will only allow one chart type. To work around this I will typically download data to work with it inside of a spreadsheet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude helps us to optimize customer journeys and understand the most common behaviors on a cohort by cohort basis. It also allows us a foundation to execute on AB testing and draw critical insights that inform our content strategy.
