Unlocked product insights
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude is a tool I can't imagine running product management without. It gave me an easy way to understand deeply actions of my users. Setup needs a bit of an engineer help but it's a straightforward, half-an-hour task. Running analyses, creating visualizations is really easy despite the variety of options. It's a number one tool for product analysis I use nearly everyday. It also helps a lot with communication with users - e.g. by creating cohorts you'd like to poke based on their activities (and later exporting them e.g. to Intercom).
What do you dislike about the product?
Recently its performance has downgraded. Not sure if it's my "fault" of having just too much data or it was up to adding more and more features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem it solves is that it remove fog of war re: what my users really do in the app. Based on that I can much better slice my userbase, understand impact of the features we roll out or identify most and least engaged users.
My Go-To Tool for Product Analytics and KPI Excellence
What do you like best about the product?
I like the way events are being tracked, videos on user actions and building effective business tracking KPIs and other conversion funnels. Amplitude has been very helpful in making right business decisions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike but love to see a feature where I can see the events being tracked based on different timezones, because when users are based out of different timezones and tracking them at one place sometimes creates discrepancy in the database records vs amplitude KPIs
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using funnels and coherts, amplitude really helps us in tracking conversions and understand where the users might be getting stuck mostly, that helps us streamline the process as well as allows us to help the customers in an effective way.
Not for the average marketer
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the ability to show traffic to website landing pages and conversion from page load to form fill.
What do you dislike about the product?
Amplitude is not the most user friendly tool. It took me several months to get used to the platform and understand how to build charts and a dashboard. The Ux is quite sophisticated and not super intuitive if you don’t know exactly what you want.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude helps me understand website traffic and how customers are converting through the funnel.
User friendly platform, great for insights and analytics
What do you like best about the product?
I would say it is the user friendly interface, easy to use all around tool for all the parts of the operations. It is really easy to integrate other platforms and also to implement them.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could be a bit too many tools to use to get the feeling of what is needed for me and my team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude solves our overall business analytics and also allow us to go as detailed as per campaign or channel used in digital marketing
Get to know who your Users are with Amplitude
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to seemlessly create segmentation charts and funnel charts simply by selecting events and also being able to add custom formulas is much needed. Needless to say conducting aggregations of properties and grouping by certain events while being able to see an event timeline of what users do in the App is extremely useful for me!
What do you dislike about the product?
Currently, Amplitude doesnt have many explanations of features that help debug what caused drop-offs in certain funnels or why a particular conversion is going down.. investigative features
Another thing that is limited at the moment is the tile layout in dashboards and having very restrictive design options for formatting charts beside each other and adding images too

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Identifying key areas within the app that need improvement and most interacted with features etc.. it helps me to identify how a new App release performed compared to the previous ones
My experience with Amplitude
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is easy to use, all available features are self-explanatory and the way data is shown to you it's easy to interpret.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would love for the alert system to go a bit more in depth i.e: possibility to schedule alerts on specific days of the month, alert frequency based on recurrence of KPI abnormally by X%.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps me make informed decisions when analyzing app data. This helps the business know when to prioritize on investigating or fixing a potential issue and allocate resources accordingly.
Great tool for Product Analytics and AB Testing
What do you like best about the product?
Its a go to tool for someone who wants to understand and keep track of the product metrics. We run AB Tests and monitor our product funnel using Amplitude. I just love the drop off analysis that can give you key insight why some users are dropping off your funnel. Its easy to use, integrate easily with Slack to give automated data delivery.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its can be slightly difficult for someone to start with the tool on their own. The UI/UX could have been simpler.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Amplitude to track our Product's funnel conversion & time to convert. We do drop off analysis on the funnel data to get insights on where are we losing our customers in the funnel. Also, Heat Map feature is a great addition which give you an understanding how to optimise the UI/UX for better results.
Basically a must-have for event-based product analytics
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and snappiness of the UI is so great, especially for non-SQL analytics consumers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Depending on your analytics stack, it can be extra work to get some metrics (especially backend/business logic) to match other sources. My last team was still able to do it with a 'synthetic' event sync via Hightouch, so it wasn't a huge deal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In our use-case, it helped us take our existing event instrumentation via another tool, and migrate those events into Amplitude for analytics across our org.
Easy onboarding, countless insights
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude has been a valuable tool in my organisation to better understand user behaviours across our product. We have been using it daily for over three years and it has helped us dissect where drop-off is happening, where users are getting confused, and be able to target those users with A/B tests. Getting started was relatively self-explanatory and the online guides were short and simple to understand. Our tech team was able to set it up without issue. We tie the insights from Amplitude into some of our other data using Metabase, which was also a relatively straightforward thing to set up.
When Amplitude changed their pricing tiers, we were fully supported in understanding which tier fit best for us and were able to find a cost-effective way to continue to use Amplitude and make the most of their ever-growing set of features.
One of my favourite tools in Amplitude is combining the funnel tool with the user journey tool to better understand where our users are going when they aren't following the happy path.

What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest gap I find with Amplitude is in using it to create simple WoW reports, which is a common ask from stakeholders and upper management. Ideally, there would be a way to not just share a snapshot of now, but also what changed in the last X days, and whether it changed positively or negatively.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude allows my team to better understand who our users are and how they are interacting with our product. This data supports our ability to create personas and cohorts that we can target with new features and feature tests. It also highlights areas of our product that are not performing well, or certain cohorts that might not be engaging in the way we want. Ultimately, this means better uptake across the product and better-informed decisions about our product.
Using Amplitude Starter plan as an intern and integrating with our current web application
What do you like best about the product?
Funnel charts, onboarding funnel (i need help in this), page views for specific pages im still trying to get that working, and custom charts and custom dashboards
What do you dislike about the product?
it has a learning curve, im not sure where i stand currently, but yea taking a little longer to do some stuff than i expected
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
well it is giving me insights which i did not have access to before, session replays/heatmaps are great for figuring out how users r interacting on my web app
