Great for digital marketing!
What do you like best about the product?
It's very user friendly and gives a comprehensive overview of large sets of data.

Sometimes it can't pull in all the data I want into a single chart.

It shows us the number of page views and unique page views each user sees.

Amplitude helps me build various dashboard with different lets me analyse and view the data from different lens at the same time, its a great chart builder.

Amplitude can get little confusing at times, however support helps me understand it better

Good Platform to Understand User Behavior at Scale
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude has been a huge help in driving growth for us. I can easily see which campaigns are bringing in which type of users, and then build cohorts based on their behavior and journey. It’s great for tracking user activities, engagement levels, and metrics like MAU and DAU. Having all of this in one place makes it much easier to understand what’s working and where we need to improve
What do you dislike about the product?
At times I notice some data discrepancies compared to what we see in marketing channels like Facebook and Google. It’s not a deal breaker, but it does require extra cross-checking to be fully confident in the numbers
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude Analytics helps us solve the challenge of understanding user behavior across different touchpoints. By giving us a clear view of which campaigns drive which types of users, and how those users engage over time, it’s become an essential tool for optimizing our growth strategy. We can build precise cohorts, track engagement metrics like DAU and MAU, and identify friction points in the user journey, all at a place. This level of insight has made it much easier to make data driven decision, improve retention, and finetune my marketing efforts.
Great tool for exploring data naturally, but search and segmentation could be better
What do you like best about the product?
I really like Ask Amplitude. It’s super helpful that I can just type a question in plain language and get the answer back without setting up complicated queries. It also lets me pull in different types of events and quickly turn them into charts, so I can explore things from multiple angles without much effort. Overall, it’s a pretty comprehensive tool and makes it easier to understand what users are doing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could segment data by screen size, it’s something I really wanted to do, a simple but essential filter but it’s not possible right now. Also, the search could be smarter. For instance, when I’m trying to find a breakdown by region or search for something specific, it doesn’t always bring up the right results or make it obvious where to go.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me understand how people are actually interacting with what I design, what actions they take next, and how different groups behave to make those nuanced decisions while designing. It helps to quickly spot friction points, measure if changes are working, and also makes it easier to turn usage data into insights we can act on using Ask Amplitude.
For any startup looking to optimize their product, I would recommend it 100 times to use Amplitude
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy using Amplitude. As someone focused on product optimization at a startup, I rely on a free account and find it extremely valuable. I highly recommend it. I use it to check data almost every day! This platform genuinely provides access to a wide range of useful features for everyone, and its goal of helping products grow is clear. For instance, when we needed to track error levels in our products, we considered using Amplitude as our dashboard. At first, we were a bit disappointed to learn that the alert feature required payment. However, we soon found that the experimental features included an alert function, allowing us to create flags and monitor their status for timely notifications. Even with a free account, it's possible to create unlimited flags, which is truly impressive. My colleagues and I are all genuinely impressed by what a fantastic platform and product Amplitude is.
What do you dislike about the product?
There may be a bug, as emails sent by Amplitude to my inbox are not being fully displayed at the moment. However, the attached files do appear to be complete. Additionally, since the platform offers such powerful features, I would like to see more real-world use cases showcased on the official website.The login process is also very strange. I'm already logged in to Amplitude, but when I open another Amplitude page, I often have to log in again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude's SDK is really useful. Not only does it easily visualize user journeys, but it also allows for easy integration of data from other sources. Here's a dashboard I shared with my team.

Pre-built reports that can easily be customized to match the events you send.

Takes time to learn everything, and you need to make sure you pre-define and send all the event and their properties to make things work.

This is our main analytics tool for all types of reporting for both mobile app and website data.

What do you like best about the product?
I find Amplitude Analytics indispensable for tracking everything in one place. It provides insights into user behavior, like average read time for pop-ups, helping us refine our strategies effectively. I appreciate its dashboard and chart features, especially funnel and pathfinder capabilities, to visualize conversion rates and user journey steps. Additionally, the setup, despite being heavy initially, ensures consistent use over time, making it a valuable tool for repeated application.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find Amplitude Analytics' tiered pricing model to be a potential concern because as the number of events increases, the costs can rise significantly, impacting our budget and potentially forcing us to look for other options. The initial setup phase was quite challenging, particularly in creating accounts and dashboards, which required me to seek help from the analytics team, indicating a less intuitive user experience. Furthermore, Amplitude lacks comprehensive in-app guides, which makes the learning curve steep. The onboarding process could be improved significantly to support first-time users better. Finally, I rely on Google Analytics for certain metrics like impressions and bounce rates because I feel they provide more accurate data on these than Amplitude does.

I use Amplitude Analytics to track our activities, improving decision-making and user engagement by identifying areas needing change, like underperforming pop-ups. It provides critical insights all in one place, preventing us from being uninformed about our performance.

What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to track metrics and create charts. We track everything on our marketing site and product in Amplitude. Additionally, the help and support is great. The ability to create a ticket about something i'm not sure about and get a response within the week is very important to me.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes i'm not sure about the data and I have to make extra charts to cross-test an inquiry. I wish that the Guides and Surveys features was more robust and part of the base package.

Some of the advanced features may also require additional training to use effectively. Additionally, loading large datasets can sometimes be slow, and there could be more ready-to-use templates for common use cases to make the platform even more accessible.
