Amplitude helps me make decisions with data every day
What do you like best about the product?
The number of possible configuration combinations, including variables, graphs, data crossing logic, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there are so many options that I can't decide which one is the best, but that's part of the learning curve. One specific thing I miss is being able to create a segment with a specific email list without having to add one by one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Crossing data to make decisions in real time and, as I am a product owner, showing data to negotiate with steakholders and squads
Intuitive and fast solution for analytical needs of a small developer.

Simplicity, integrations, data streaming, and customisable charts
What do you dislike about the product?
Right now, there is no way to stream data to AppsFlyer, while this article says that such streaming exists

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data integration, fast check of analytical events on a developer side, simplicity
Pretty powerfull tool that requires some time investment
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to create comprehensible dashboards with many different graphs that help us get a better and clearer view of our own product. I can answer almost all questions i have about my users using the tool on the free plan, which is amazing
What do you dislike about the product?
Some "niche" settings and tools are kinda confusing, and there is no clear way to lear how to use them effectively, not even on the wiki/help center. Some articles are unfinished or outdated. Some times i try to search a simple word or term that is used on amplitude looking for details on the help center, only to found nothing at all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Recently we've launched a trial for our product, and amplitude has been really helpful on tracking our leads and users habits and pain points during their first experience.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to uncover different type of insights like user session and funnel etc. are proving very helpful . User segment levels are very helpful in identifying the insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
can we get to apply filters on amplitude dashboard, which filters the data, on the dashboard.

Amplitude Analytics enables me to make informed decisions by collecting, integrating and modeling data.

I slightly dislike how there is no AA on-premise solution for iOS.

- Easy to setup funnels, conversion charts, find the conversion drivers and so on
- Can add all my team members, build your own list of dashboards and charts, has SSO for access, the UX is great

What do you dislike about the product?
Event stream for users -- could show some stats, if I open a user I would love to see the distribution of events by name (e.g. top 30 most popular events done by this user), this feature was in Kissmetrics long time ago but not in Amplitude :(
Conversion drivers -- have performance issues if you have a ton of events (we do)
User cohorts work with bugs and we stopped doing a/b testing calculations in amplitude as a result. The way they dynamically update is unreliable and support wasn't helpful here.

- Data democratizaiton within the company, anyone can do analytics without the analysts :)

Powerful analytics platform
What do you like best about the product?
As a UX writer, working with data is not my main job, but Amplitude makes it much easier than other platforms.
Creating Funnels and Cohorts is pretty simple and gives a lot of possibilities to analyze the data.
Flows are also a fantastic tool for a better understanding of how your users navigate your product.

What do you dislike about the product?
Web performance can get sluggish when you load dashboards with too many analyses.
Since Amplitude is a global company, it should invest in translations for the platform. It would be easier for people who do not have English as their first language.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understand how our users are engaging with different types of communication methods. That's very important because our team can choose wisely which method we should use.
Critical tool for adoption campaigns!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can sync cohorts to marketo to drive my adoption campaigns. Before amplitude I had to rely on our product team whenever I needed to pull a target list with user data. Now I can self-serve with real-time data!
I have dabbled in many platforms that try to make analytics user freindly, and I'd put Amplitude at the top of my list in terms of both ease of use, and actionability. The new Metrics feature is 🔥🔥🔥

What do you dislike about the product?
Perhaps it's biggest disadvantage is also it's biggest strength. Where other platforms might try to do a little of everything (to various degrees of success), amplitude seems to be laser focused on being best in class at what they do.

Drive data-backed adoption campaigns that deepen user engagement and stickiness.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the funnel charts, they helped me create interesting visuals and dive deeper into the data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Amplitude is really good but one drawback is how not everything was tagged properly for our product, and so we didn't always get the most accurate numbers when analyzing our data.

Amplitude is solving the problem of understanding our users and data better.

It's straightforward to learn how to use the product and is very responsive and fast with populating charts and reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dashboards do not work smoothly in general and there is no btn to refresh all the reports in a dashboard.

We primarily use Amplitude to measure the changes we make in the product and we want to see how if affects our customers' behavior.
