Embedding analytics
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to embed analytics as code into other platforms has been amazing. Bringing this information to our users has had great feedback as we can share live data.

Not being able to visually customise graphs to make them our own.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Must have for product who wants scale

Using Amplitude as a PM
What do you like best about the product?
What I really like about Amplitude is how easy it makes digging into user behavior. We have only one Product Analyst in our organization, so I’m often working independently when it comes to focused research. Even if you're not super technical, you can build funnels, explore user journeys, or slice and dice the data to figure out what’s working and what’s not. The "explorer" feature is super helpful for troubleshooting, and defining analytics tasks. I also like to automated digests and dashboards auto sent.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user journeys feature is not very intuitive, and it’s hard to understand user behavior through it (at least as a PM).
We’re very tied to Amplitude due to our implementation and event history, so switching to another vendor would be difficult (though I’m not sure that counts as a “dislike”).

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude helps us understand how users interact with our product and understand adoption and stickiness - which features are most valuable to our users and where to invest more resources.
Great for Tracking, Not So great for In-Portal Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
Organization of data and defining and implementing data infrastructure is super easy
What do you dislike about the product?
I have to export data to perform almost any analysis, which becomes an additional cost. The in-house data analytics tools are subpar, in my opinion
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Product usage tracking makes it easy for us to track experiment and feature success
Reviewing Amplitude Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude is intuitive and easy to use, even for non-technical users. I appreciate how quickly I can build funnels, analyze user behavior, and segment data without writing code. It’s powerful for answering product questions and tracking engagement metrics.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some advanced features can be a bit hidden or require additional setup. Also, performance can lag slightly when working with large datasets or complex dashboards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude helps me understand how users interact with our product.
Very easy to use and understand even for a beginner
What do you like best about the product?
I like the interface as it feels very spacious yet many features are present.
Also, I feel it's designed with growth and engagement in mind, which makes it easy to map out user journeys, conversion funnels, and retention cohorts without needing SQL.
I particularly like features like 'Event segmentation' & 'Retention Analysis' which help teams quickly identify behavioral patterns and drop-off points.

What do you dislike about the product?
While Amplitude is powerful, there are some limitations. One of the main challenges is that customization at scale can become complex - for instance, insuring clean implementation requires strict discipline, or else analysis gets messy.
Also, historical backfilling is limited, so if something wasn't instrumented correctly from the start, fixing it retrospectively isn't always possible.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude helps me solve the core challenge of understanding user behavior at a granular level across the creative journey in Adobe Express. From onboarding to template usage to export actions, I can track how different users segments interact with the product and identify where they are dropping off or getting valued.
It solves the problem of product blindspots - where traditional metrics like MAUs or session time might not tell the full story. With Amplitude, I am able to break down engagement into behavioral cohorts, analyze retention by use case and prioritize features based on actual impact

Clear visuals with diagrams, but difficult navigation
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the clarity of the detailed visualizations for each diagram type in Amplitude, as well as the variety of metrics available.
What do you dislike about the product?
My team and I consistently have difficulty logging in to new shared dashboards in Amplitude. The login process is quite confusing, and it’s unclear why there are different login methods for accessing various dashboards with the same account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides reliable data to track usability for validating the UX design.
Super complete analytics software
What do you like best about the product?
It allows me to keep track of different KPIs by myself.
I am a product designer ans I am able to generate dashboards by myself in a very easy way

What do you dislike about the product?
I think it's more related to the data structure built by the data team at my company, but soemtimes it gets really hard to find exactly the event I am looking for
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me a lot when sharing my squad progress (on a weekly basis) with stakeholders. It's the tool we use to measure our success
Great and multi-purpose analytics tool
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude replaced Google Analytics for us, it's easy to use, fairly easy to implement and it's a single source of truth for us about our marketing and product efforts.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not the best for some marketing activities and the pricing cold be better. For example we decided to turn off "Session start" event because it would consume to much of our data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We measure experiments in Amplitude, track conversion of every step of the product and analyze user paths and behaviours.
Amplitude: Easy to get started, hard but rewarding to master
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude is essential for any data-minded product specialist that wants to learn more about how users interact with their platform. I enjoy the ease of use and great visualization suite above all else, especially as a non-technical member of my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
From time to time, I do find myself wishing there were certain features or integrations that could allow Amplitude to be my one and only source of truth. Unfortunately, every now and then I must go to a different platform or do some dodgy data analysis across platforms to find answers to the most pressing questions I have about my product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the most important question of all: how do users interact with our product? It benefits us by allowing us a deep dive into any question we could imagine, from the most surface level user experience ones, to critical user interface ones that have drastically changed how our product looks.
