It works really well for certain use cases.
What do you like best about the product?
You get countless breakdowns out of the box, and Amplitude saves you tons of time on creating metrics for you.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a pretty high upfront cost to integrate your data, especially if you have several different apps sending events and you have custom metrics you care about.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
User journeys/flows are much easier in Amplitude than any other tool.
Amplitude have fulfilled most of our product analytics dreams
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that simple product questions can be promptly answered by product managers and executives, without being dependent on the data engineering and BI team.
It frees up the analytics team to focus on depth analysis questions and motivates the product managers to have more intimacy with the data.
I also liked how easy it is to collaborate on reports and to create a knowledge center per feature or team.

What do you dislike about the product?
It took us a while to wrap our heads as to the difference between events to user properties. The fact that user properties aren't time-series-based makes it difficult whenever we would like to backfill the data for potential data discrepancies.

Product teams are moving faster with feature launches and hypothesizing around user experience changes.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend spending the time and building an event data modeling strategy, if the events naming conventions or fields aren't properly throughout through it could become pretty frustrating.
Build a data governance group to help make decisions and think about the big picture and not just let dev teams randomly deploy events that make sense only to their questions.

Study and analysis on the life cycle of our clients
What do you like best about the product?
Based on its interface, the set of tools are sufficiently developed to perform quite complete functions, it contributes to the analysis and constant study of the behavior of our clients at the precise moment they visit our page. It has extensive features that allow us to work accurately, we evaluate the retention of the product, it provides us with advanced segmentation, it's incredible how in the reports it is possible to see completely the routes of users with detailed graphics. The funnel analysis, together with the segmentation as well as the correlation and participation matrix, makes us be much more precise in what we do, not leave out any detail and always focus on the objectivity of what our clients really want.
What do you dislike about the product?
The prices are not the most appropiate, they could be adjusted a little better so that it is more accessible to small companies, however, apart from this I don't find anything else that displeases me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefits have been multiple, ranging from a greater adaptibility of the platform to our work system, with which we have been able to develop a much a more fluid work, as well as the reduction of our invested work time. On the other hand, we have optimized the management of analysis on the behavior of our clients, which is the first thing they observe, what most catches their attention, where they enter, what route they take and also what they are not seeing, what that perhaps is being overlooked. Knowing all this contributes day by day to finding solutions to problems that we may not be seeing and Amplitude Analytics has helped us with this problem.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Amplitude Analytics is great tool, join and discover that in addition to just doing analysis it could help you much more than that.
Great starting point for data democratization
What do you like best about the product?
As an analyst, the front-end makes it simple for anyone to create cohortized reports and additional otherwise-complicated (SQL-wise) reports from scratch with minimal training.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's limited ability to do more ad-hoc analysis without having another product (i.e. the SQL interface doesn't allow for joins for instance)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude has centralized a lot of the usage tracking and has become the source of truth for activation, engagement, retention, etc.
Amplitude Analytics for the Win!
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude Analytics is used all across our company. From Marketing and Product development to Operations and Customer service. Every department that needs to understand user behavior patterns rely on Amplitude Analytics. Two important benefits are the ability to drill down and the ability to follow the customer experience across platforms and across devices. Key is the ability to decide specifically what is important to track instead of being fed all data all the time. Removing what is not needed gives us cleaner data.
Adoption within a specific department is almost automatic because of the ease of use and report set up. The built in explanations lead to the actual use of more functions and seem to invite exploration of features leading to more robust results.
We are also easily able to share views so that results are seen and understood by other teams. This leads to adoption across departments. When the whole team works from the same central data views, there are no more quandaries from conflicting sources of truth.
Data cleanliness, data accessibility, and data centralization make Amplitude Analytics a powerful resource for our organization.

What do you dislike about the product?
Amplitude really helps managers and decision makers see data and get it easily fed to them at different intervals. The only downside is that sometimes individuals may make key decisions without a reasonable integrity check from a data analyst. Data can mislead if original assumptions are not confirmed. Don't forget to include your analysts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A/B Testing, user acceptance and user preferences more easily become sources of data to drive decision making.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Start. Experiment. Don't be afraid to upgrade for the advanced reports.
Customizable simple real time analytics
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to see real time analytics and respective take actions to address unwanted experiences. Additionally, the analytics helped us drive investment decision for our product
What do you dislike about the product?
I would appreciate few more workshops and tutorials
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving for user adoption of available digital tools and reduce the turnaround time. We have line of sight to achieve 25% adoption rate and 20k+ hours of saving by optimizing experience
Excellent analytics product to really understand your users
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude has the ability to easily track and understand real time traffic for your product as well as more retrospective analyses of usage. What helped immensely was the process through which we could effectively divide up the users and track them throughout their user lifecycle. This allowed us to track retention and engagement metrics much more easily and also make cohort analysis a seamless part of the analytics infra. Many of the types of metrics and frameworks from Reforge are built into Amplitude as well!
What do you dislike about the product?
Amplitude can feel a bit clunky at times. The way to filter events is not as intuitive as with mixpanel to bifurcate and analyze.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DAU/MAU
User Segmentation
Retention and Engagement
Product engagement by power/casual users

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Would definitely recommend to get a baseline understanding of your product's users and then optimize with experiments that you can easily track with Amplitude.
Amplitude Review
What do you like best about the product?
Simple to use, many use cases, growth and rate of adding new features
What do you dislike about the product?
nothing comes to mind, seems like some of the integrations took a long time observing from a distance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
personalized analytics, more user than developer
Very powerful and easy to use once implemented
What do you like best about the product?
Notebooks and annotations in Amplitude are one of the best features. These really help to externalize interpretations and learnings from the data so I can share with team members across disciplines - product, engineering, marketing, support, biz dev, etc. - who can contribute back to the notebook or follow along the story being told by the data.
I also really appreciate the ease of creating cohorts, generating standard reports, and leveraging user properties to segment users for better understanding of their behavior.
I also really appreciate the ease of creating cohorts, generating standard reports, and leveraging user properties to segment users for better understanding of their behavior.
What do you dislike about the product?
A lot of the success comes down to your organization's implementation of the front end events. Some time spent up front on event strategy and implementation is essential to really getting the most out of Amplitude. Data governance is key before you start analyzing it in Amplitude.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work in a product leadership role and Amplitude has found its way into almost every deck that I've presented or shared out; being able to sync between Google drive and Amplitude was has bridged traditional presentations and real-time dashboards.
Good graphs
What do you like best about the product?
The graphs are easy to view and understand, fast rendering
What do you dislike about the product?
Don't see a way to add tooltips/descriptions for the some the metrics, sometimes it can be hard to remember the meaning of them
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
