Super flexible product

Flexibility and overall solidity of the product

Amplitude is a great tool for tracking company, product, and marketing metrics. We have used it for months and it is helping us make decisions and act quickly.

More display options. For example, pie charts with event properties.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to set up, easy to analyze the data

Not really any pain points. Only thing which could be improved is the high price 😃

Best in class analytics for apps and websites. A ton of features which are helpful to improve user retention, funnels and more.

Easy to use Android SDK, Javascript SDK.

We could easily create the charts, and also, The Cohorts feature was one of the best features.
The New Recommend, along with Analytics, is a Killer feature.
I'm able to generate Predictions and Recommendations using my data.
I didn't know I could do so much with all the data that My users generate.

What do you dislike about the product?
It took a lot of time to understand for the first time.
User Experience can be improved.
Charts can be more interactive.
Graphs can show some more relevant data.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problem: User-reported bugs were hard to debug as we don't know what the user was doing.
Solution: Using Analytics, we plotted Events wherever we found a relevant data point for us to debug later. These events later helped us to Debug the issues Live from wherever remotely we are.
Extras: With this data generated in Amplitude, we could easily plot out graphs based on different attributes. The Data also helped us in improving our product.
We could recommend some of the user pain points for the product/Engineering team, which helped us improve the product experience.
Amplitude helped us improve our daily active user count, which had many compounding effects on our product.

How easy it is to start gathering info from your products and discover your product usage from a user centric view. Also the free version is great.

Sometines when you want to extract information about a big amount of users you have to download a csv as there is (or I haven't found it) a way to see it online.

I love the platform because its use is very easy to understand and convenient for the novice user.

The ease with which you can get the data visually, and analyze by segments or events.

What do you dislike about the product?
The problem with the platform is that when you try to make things a little more complicated than the average user you encounter limitations, which an SQL query would solve. Also the inability to combine different graphs such as unique and total. Sometimes not all graph configurations can be used when using a custom formula.

3. Where is there a mistake in the product characterization that affects the product consumption?

Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend purchasing the program where SQL queries can be performed, as the tool is limited and not flexible enough. In addition, in order to analyze user traffic, this is a great tool and allows a variety of different analyzes to be performed in order to increase the use of the Product.
Master your acquisition funnels
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude is incredible to grasp where you lose your customer. It thus helps to make the right product choices

Sometimes it is hard to understand which event is what; it could benefit event documentation somewhere. Also, if events are new events, it breaks funnels.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are looking for drops in funnels and conversion rates.

What do you like best about the product?
I am an avid Mode user, and use SQL regularly to build visualizations for my company.
I was skeptical of Amplitude because of how low-tech it is. Yet, all of the functionality that I wanted (filtering, grouping, etc) is already there.
I've found that it's way easier to also explore my data and figure out what visualizations are most compelling.
To get really granular, here are my favorite features:
- Multiple suggestions for a chart type (Event Segmentation, Funnel Analysis, etc). For instance, under Funnel Analysis, I can break down my chart by Conversion, Conversion over Time, Time to Convert, Frequency, etc. It empowers me to look at my data through various dimensions
- Update/save feature for charts. I LOVE the update chart feature. There are many times where I am tweaking a chart and don't want to drag and reorder my existing charts. This saves me a ton of time

What do you dislike about the product?
To be honest, I dislike that I can't condense the notebooks. They take up too much space, don't allow me to view multiple metrics next to each other.
For Revenue LTV, I'm also somewhat annoyed that I can't filter out certain event types. The revenue in our company is a bit complex given that we're a skills based gaming platform
