I really like using Amplitude. The features are complete with what I need to manage my audience
What do you like best about the product?
User events, the cohorts of almost anything I want to measure. This tool is easy to use yet powerful.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I migrate data to other platforms they don't usually correlate
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating behavioral cohorts. User data based on actions. Show data in a simple way with graphs and charts that update constantly.

What do you like best about the product?
Winnie is a child care and education marketplace helping millions of parents across the United States find daycare, preschool, K-12, camps, and more. With so many users on our platform, it's mission-critical for us to have an analytics platform that we can rely on to run our business. Looking at our data in Amplitude informs everything we do and allows us to be a data-driven organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Right now it's a learning curve to use Amplitude but once you learn how to use Amplitude it's so incredibly powerful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Enabling fast decision making
What do you like best about the product?
I will mention two: (1) how easy it is to study ANY event in my product, and (2) making useful dashboards that allow to track main metrics and help me decide what to change (in a daily basis).
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes creating repetitive segmentations require too many time-consuming clicks. I think a simple tool could be available to allow me to change ranges faster (either by a pseudo-code or by auto-completing my actions). E.g., filling user_attribute from 1 to 10, or ranges from 0 to 7, 8 to 28, 29 to 56, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work with the live operations of a mobile game, so I am always looking to monetization and engagement metrics. It helps me understand how the product is reacting to any recent changes. Also, it is a quick way to investigate gameplay/progression behavior for potential new features.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I don't know any other tool that makes it this easy to play with data this fast. Period.

What do you like best about the product?
The team at Amplitude went above and beyond to help set Toucan up for success on their platform. Since browser extensions as a go-to-market product are fairly new, we had to work together to create a solution that worked well for our business. We truly consider them partners and are excited to continue working with them as we scale Toucan to millions of active users.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing we disliked in regards to working with Amplitude. Highly recommend partnering with them to other fellow founders.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The average mobile app hopes for 5 minutes of usage a day. Being a browser extension, our users engage with Toucan for over 5 hours every single day. Amplitude has allowed us to better understand usage patterns in order to create an even better experience for our users.
Helping me turn my user data into meaningful insights
What do you like best about the product?
I like the easy-to-use plug-and-play aspect of using amplitude to do exactly what I need with little effort. Further, the customer support/success team has been nothing short of spectacular in helping me with my various questions and optimizing my queries with the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Perhaps the cost might be higher than desired but worth it for the insights the product delivers
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have understood how certain features within my product affect user retention, amongst many other things. Retention, in particular interest, was a primary motivator for using amplitude. This has been very helpful in understanding where to ultimately invest resources, grow the product, and add customer value.

really think about how you instrument your events! Easy to leave some out and they can't be done retroactively
Very straightforward to use and answers all of our burning questions!

I like the layout of the dashboards. The setup of the charts is simple and straightforward. The questions you can answer can be broad or specific.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish more clients would upgrade to notebooks and unlock the ability to cohort!

We are solving problems of product-market fit and where to spend dev resources with additional features. It has also helped clients see the importance of marketing differently to users or in adding to their tech stack.

Take their courses and use the resources online because they are VERY helpful and thorough!

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. Intuitive platform and great support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Has a lot of features, so it's tough to allocate enough time to dive into each one and what value/insights can be uncovered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us see how our users use the app, where they come from and heavily rely on it for growth and retention analysis.
The Amplitude is Incredible
What do you like best about the product?
With Amplitude, you can really dive deep into the data. With this tool, you can measure product and marketing metrics, which provides an overview of everything we need.
Currently, I use Amplitude very frequently and find all the possibilities for analysis, metrics, etc., interesting. The cohort analysis is fantastic!

What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I don't like, however, there are some limitations for extracting information that are a bit bothersome. For example, I can only extract the consumer IDs, it is not possible to extract the properties of the events.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude helps solve numerous problems with data and the possibility of insights. Regarding the benefits, it is possible to identify scenarios and correct them in advance based on the available data.

What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude is quite intuitive and has a lot of auxiliary information associated with it that helps us understand the analyses, the graphs, and the possibilities of each one.
What do you dislike about the product?
I miss being able to annotate insights on the charts. If we could pin key points on the graphs and leave a comment, it would be great. Even more advanced would be if these comments were sent to the team, in the case of shared analyses, and everyone could also comment in sequence. Another suggestion: I particularly use Funnels a lot. But for me, the greatest potential of funnels is the User Paths. I believe that the User Paths could take the same time interval selected in the funnel, just as next to each path there could be the ease of creating a new chart of the funnel type already with that configuration, in case we want to delve deeper into that analysis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our biggest gain with Amplitude currently is identifying gaps in the user journey, making special use of funnels. We are also making extensive use of retentions to identify important points of user retention.

Must have for understanding your users
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Amplitude allows you to very quickly get insights on how users behave on your platform. I especially like that it is very intuitive how to pull data together, and I am never left in a situation where I'm thinking too hard to put together a chart.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that I have to invite others all the time into Amplitude, just to show them an insight or give them the ability to pull insights. It would be ideal if it was set up in a way that everyone in an organization by default had some basic level of access, so they they didn't have to go through hoops when I'm just trying to share a single thing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is very time consuming, confusing, and inflexible to build the same charts in a BI tool as opposed to Amplitude. So Amplitude solves a core problem I have with traditional BI tools which is speed to insight. Also, although I am fluent in SQL, it is still helpful to me not having to write a lot of SQL because ultimately I'm just trying to get to useful insights.
