Absolutely love amplitude
What do you like best about the product?
It took me a bit to figure out, but once I did, it's been amazing. The platform makes it extremely easy to segment users, utilize multiple websites, and track flows.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI/UX could use like a 1% upgrade (like makeup or something lol). Besides that it's perfect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking all of my workflows and conversion rates

Enjoy using the documentation option where you can create a shareable report and collaboration of insights.

There are a lot of nuances getting the platform to work and i feel the learning curve is steep.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would reccomend that other companies take a look at the depth of features when it comes to documenting reports, as well as be comfortable with the query language and filtering logic for generating reports.

How easy it is to set up and analyze data. Recovering data from Amplitude is straightforward, and the user timeline view also provides significant insights while debugging.

The lack of support for more complex aggregated queries, creating alerts for real-time data, and the prices
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding of user behavior, product testing and A/B validation, one of session debugging, real-time following of feature rollouts.
Amplitude provides us with significant benefits being so easy to use and understand. We can quickly ramp up developers and product managers to use the platform and gain advantages on the topics mentioned above.

It's a high level web software where I can easily create my dashboards
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that it's possible to manage the graphics in the dashboards in several ways. The filter in graph creation is also something that turns the whole experience in Amplitude something easy to do, but with complex information to absorb and this is really good for those that, for example, don't know how to code in SQL language.
What do you dislike about the product?
Well, Amplitude is a really good tool to make easier the whole process of extracting information from data. But, sometimes, the data on User & Account Look-Up takes some time to load and this is something that, in some cases, is necessary to run analysis through some instant data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems I'm solving with Amplitude are really those that require seeing the "data behavior" through time and, with all the possibilities to change the data range and all the other possibilities of graph creation, this can easily be solved. The fact that a person doesn't need to have knowledge in SQL language makes the usage of Amplitude a perfect experience.

It's a really good web software!

Simple to use, ease of understanding, notebook, easy to share
What do you dislike about the product?
UI Product flow can be improved, and there could be an interactive tutorial for first-time users or lapsed users. I feel that the usage of Amplitude is now center around notebook, this was not always the case. Navigation can be improved, Also, given the constant evolution of the UI, coming back to Amplitude after multiple months is really confusing, because of all those navigation changes. Having a tutorial that shows best practices on interacting with Amplitude, can be helpful.

Just go forward with it, and invest in tracking standardization & best practices across your portfolio's of product. This will make the usage of amplitude ROI positive.

It is essentially: easy to implement (clear documentation), to use (fast learning curve), and to work with.
The range of analysis and charts cover the basic and most important needs of a company that wants to improve the performance of its product through behavioural analytics.

What do you dislike about the product?
Perhaps the possibility to show very old data at a certain granularity level (daily, weekly aggregation).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Analyzing the user's usage of the application and the impact of A/B tested features on mains KPIs (funnels, conversion, retention, engagement).
Well rounded product analytics tool. Covers plenty of uses cases and has excellent support team
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that they try to cover different "common" or "frequent" business questions with a specific chart for each, but keeping it abstract enough to be able to customize it and dive deeper into what you need. Also, even though some charts do requiere the user to understand how that chart operates under the hood (especially funnel charts), the documentation covers almost everything you need to know. When it doesn't, you can contact the support team and have a fast and informative response.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their UI data viz is lacking, especially around dashboards. Many times due to the nature of what you are displaying, you need to customize aspects of the charts, and you cant. Even worse, when building a dashboard, the data viz is even stricter, and plenty of times, you end up requiring to enter a specific chart to see the data correctly instead than from the dashboard, which is cumbersome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Giving visibility of the performance of different product funnels to product and marketing teams. Slicing users to have a better understanding of their needs.
Amplitude is extremely important for our business
What do you like best about the product?
We are constantly creating new features or updating existing ones in our products, and Amplitude gives us all the necessary tools to analyze user engagement, retention, and conversion. Every launch of a new feature MUST come with a related dashboard on Amplitude measuring: feature demand (number of accesses), feature conversion, track of user paths. And the ability to send extra properties with the events allows us to create a much deeper analysis.
What do you dislike about the product?
I miss a feature that allows us to overlap different graphics into the same chart, so we can easily correlate one conversion line with others.

Tool to go for product analytics
What do you like best about the product?
Flexibility, and easy to use as long as you ensure a good implementation from your tech team. It is very very easy to set up a dashboard and share it with co-workers, so it is a great analytics tool for collaborative work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing is not entirely transparent, and some key features are not available in the basic version. Also, although there are enough materials available, I believe there is room for improvement in terms of resources and real examples since some tools require in-depth comprehension.

Despite some improvement needed in terms of learning resources, if you have a good tech team, Amplitude is definitely the go-to product analytics platform.
