The perfect tool for event-based product analytics!

What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude's analytical speed, the variety of its reports (e.g. retention analysis, cohort analysis, user lifecycle etc.), as well as the ease with which Amplitude can analyze a vast amount of events! Amplitude never ceases to surprise and innovate as they recently brought a new A/B testing tool to the market, which complements their event tracking capabilities in a great way, at a fraction of the cost of other A/B testing tools out there.
What do you dislike about the product?
Certain features can be bundled together without the need to pay for every single add-on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our product is very event-driven. This means that we need a powerful analytics tool to be able to uncover hidden insights. Amplitude provides precisely this and more. There were numerous times when based on one of Amplitude's default charts we were able to answer questions we did not even know we had in the first place. This is exactly what one needs from a good product analytics tool!

What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is clear and readable. A concise training is enough to get the hang of the tool. Very easy to create dashboards or to receive reports directly by email.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a complete tool, and it takes real skill to get the most out of it. But that's normal, I think.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Follow all the activities of my platform daily. Whether from a business point of view, user behavior, content quality, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
As a PM it allows me to make data informed decisions on the fly. Forget about spending hours on database queries!
What do you dislike about the product?
Identifying and understanding events added by other teams can be difficult.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the event segmentation most. Users can easily group different event properties and user properties on demand in one chart for a clear comparison view. It also provides multiple metrics, including active %, event totals, frequency, etc., for various purposes; lastly, with a potent formula function, we customize charts with specific amplification.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike Pathfinder most. Understood that the pathfinder could not differentiate event properties as it will make the chart super complicated. But it usually lets us down when we see a path there, but we cannot start comparing, creating cohorts, or using the magnifying glass for end session users. What's more, It's not accessible to compare with different time frames and various paths.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
User behaviors. It's straightforward for people in different teams to get aligned and self-served data. When new feature releases, it's swift to know user responses by a simple operation.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how easy it is to get insights into user journeys and flows through the Amplitude platform
It's very easy to get charts set up, behavioral cohorts for segmentation, and even deeper causation analytics to validate certain hypotheses
What do you dislike about the product?
While Amplitude is great for getting set up and building out initial product analytics infrastructure, it sometimes falls short of truly powerful analysis and segmentation as highlighted in this forum post

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're solving very strategic business level problems with amplitude. We've utilized it to completely run our product and business level workstreams using it to understand our users' journeys and behavior on our platform
We've made discoveries and uncovered insights that would've been highly improbable to do without the use of Amplitude, especially on the user level

What do you like best about the product?
- Ease of setup
- Ease of use
- Easy for non-developers, anyone in the company really, to delve into it
- Free plan is good start to get you going
What do you dislike about the product?
- The dashboard UI re-ordering is a bit clunky.
- Higher-end features and user segmentation is paid. Being capped at a specific price is better.

Sales, Trends, User behavior, Feedback, Bug tracking.

Super simple to navigate and self-learn, our team is using it like crazy without much help

What do you like best about the product?
Apart from all fundamental features that Amplitude's done right (event segmentation, funnels, user composition), a new gamechanger for me was the Notebook feature allowing me to supercharge the way I create more complex analyses and reports. It's easier than ever to spread knowledge and communicate insights to the team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I miss Mixpanel feature of bulk breakdowns and filters in event segmentation. If you want to break an event down by property you need to apply filters to every event. If you analyze more than 3 events, it gets time-consuming, so it would be super helpful to use the same breakdowns to all events at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are measuring product outcomes of the initiatives we roll-out, measuring feature adoption, engagement, performing behavioral analyses of the users based on the specific properties, and more. To put it all in one sentence - understanding how customers use our product and using this knowledge to build a better product as a result.

You can loose a lot of time in your product data if do think what you are looking for !
So much use cases, sometimes you can loose yoursell.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was looking for a data analytics to understand better my funnels and users.

There are too many features in each type without proper documentation of how to use them.
