Every product led organization needs Amplitude

What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude makes it easy to understand how our users flow through our product and which initiatives are actually moving the needle. As well as being extremely powerful, its user interface is also second to none: with almost no training I was able to start figuring out the rest for myself. Inside our organization we've scaled usage of Amplitude with a community of users who help each other.
What do you dislike about the product?
The idea of working in an organzation which doesn't use Amplitude! One small niggle: we've had a few problems with the Amplitude Chrome extension not working; this gives you full visibility of the tracking events being fired as you use the product. It's an extremely useful feature because it prevents endless "How is xyz tracked?" questions between teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Amplitude to increase revenue: for example pricing page optimization (including AB tests), in product upgrades and campaigns.
I also use to understand how users are using new features; this guides our optimization efforts as well as the way we package and communicate new features

What do you like best about the product?
Self-service capability. Before amplitude, our systems for collecting/reporting product data required a significant amount of assistance from engineering teams. Simply making this information more accessible has increased its usage and improved our processes as a result
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were just a little more flexibility with regards to formatting and renaming elements in a chart
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are getting a clear understanding of who is using which features in our product. As a result, we have been able to identify and prioritize investments in our products by giving us a sense of what features are and aren't used heavily, as well as high and low usage customers to engage with.

Practical and dynamic product of data analysis

What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude is excellent for my analysis of AB Tests: it's an easy and fast tool that I can use to follow the results of the projects and have a great way of data visualization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Amplitude can be too restricted, especially in the data visualization, and don't allow logical operators like AND or OR merging two events.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm following the results of my AB tests like Visualization of Pages and Clicks in the Buttons. My favorite benefit is the way how easy and fast the results are loaded.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would advise people to search for more information about all the features that this tool has to use it more profitably. Sometimes it's not clear everything you can do in Amplitude.

What do you like best about the product?
Simple, easy to use, insightful with plenty of use cases.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not the fault of Amplitude, but sometimes instrumenting events requires quite a bit of engineering involvement (to set up, verify logic, QA when it fires.) Other than that, very self-serve and easy to get rolling ASAP.

Understanding funnels, and cohort user behaviour.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can choose how I want to track user behaviour, and the different insights you can get.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a slight learning curve - as there is with all analytic tools though.

Intuitive UI, Integrations, and dashboards.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unable to provide a real-time look at subscriber base. We still really on our DB and BI tools for this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Attribution, funnel visualization, user cohorts and behavior
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be sure to explore and understand what you need from a real time subscriber/user perspective versus directional product and marketing analytics. Amplitude doesn't provide everything you need for real time MAU/paid subscriber/user etc. metrics. In other words if you want to know how many X you have at any given time, this doesn't seem to solve for that

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to copy projects so that you don't have to start all over again for each one
What do you dislike about the product?
It's super annoying that if you're editing a chart made by someone else, it makes you save it as a copy instead of being able to save their chart. I know you can add others as owners, but this becomes onerous if you want them to edit multiple charts, since you have to go into each one individually. There should be a way to give ownership of an entire project and then that would allow them to edit each chart within the project (right now you can give them ownership of a project, but that still doesn't allow them to edit the charts and save).

What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude enables you to store and track just about everything and anything you need. It has excellent pre-built functionality that allows you to slice and dice the data to understanding pathing, segmentation, uniques and trends. Our entire team uses Amplitude to gain a deeper understanding of our users and producdts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only downside is your team needs to be in sync on taxonomy and how you deploy events; otherwise, it can be harder to keep track of what's happening on other parts of the site.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for understanding output of tests, understanding whether our customers are traveling to or dropping off from and general conversion trends.

Very complete tool from tracking to analysis: Lots of integrations, easy data management (tracking, QA and management) , deep dive analysis and very user friendly

Limited to the platform no possibility to easily query the database
