A great analytics product
What do you like best about the product?
The ease with which the tool can perform complex and detailed analyses.
I like how easy it is to share data and graphs.
The segmentation by events and the distinction between user properties and events properties is very useful.

Some interface limitations, especially in the dashboard part, it is necessary to improve the possibility of generating better designs.

All business analytics goes through Amplitude. It is currently our main decision-making tool.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easily Amplitude allows its users to perform any analysis without coding & also its features like Funnel & pathfinder are more valuable.
As compared to other Analytical tools, I would prefer Amplitude.

The only thing I can mention, we can't see any historical data in Amplitude.
Other than that, everything is just ok.
They should make courses available on Amplitude to learn more & understand it better.

In my day-to-day routine, we usually use Amplitude to pull data from clickstream to understand the user activity on the mobile app.

Intuitive and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude is an intuitive tool that anyone could use, regardless of their level of data literacy. As a data analyst, I could not imagine my daily life without Amplitude.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the core functionality is absolutely great, the setting and data governance part of the product can be a bit sticky to understand at first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My company uses Amplitude to understand how our product is being used and how it's performing. Since one does not need to be an analytics wizard to use Amplitude, the main roles using Amplitude are the PMs. Thanks to this, the PMs are much more independent and don't need to bother the analysts with every single little data question they have.

- Amplitude Iteratively: Allows us to collaboratively and cross-functionally define and review our event schemas, then have our instrumentation tested in CI to ensure clean and trustworthy data.

Nothing major of note; being picky the UI could feel a bit more modern (though the UX is great), and would appreciate additional flexibility in look and feel of charts.

For Event Segmentation, we could not add more than ten events to include all the events (items) in the graph.

Sending user clicks and flow information to amplitude logs.
Great Analytics Suite
What do you like best about the product?
Powerful analytics suite that allows users to slice and dice data in whatever way is most helpful for them.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve is pretty steep, and I think a lot of the tools could be introduced in more intuitive ways.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding user behaviors, monitoring for potential conversion problems, informing design decisions.

Your analytics platform is only half of the equation - how you're tracking events is just as important.
Amplitude allows us to make data-driven decisions quickly and effectively

The usability is impressive and it is very easy to share analyses with other people within the company. It is also very simple to segment users to use in our CRM tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing I dislike. It would be nice to have general information about the sector's performance - sometimes we have to access other tools to compare our performance to peers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Amplitude on a daily basis - and we expected everyone to make an analysis based on the numbers exposed in the tool. The main benefit is to enable the company to become data-driven easily.

I believe Amplitude is a must have for every company nowadays.

Most helpful so far has been the user-friendliness of the platform and the amplitude community.

I ran into a couple of unexpected behaviors that are currently being considered by the amplitude team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating insightful dashboards for a variety of users. One key benefit is the ability to deliver dashboards to our customers in a simple and accessible way.
Can't (and refuse to!) do my job without it
What do you like best about the product?
Self-serve analytics and deep platform integrations that help us push data from across our entire stack into a place where anyone can pick it apart. Other platforms don't quite make it easy enough to do this in my experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't feel like much is missing to be honest. The customer service is top notch, and the platform itself is truly essential to what our team does on a day to day basis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude gives our Growth & Lifecycle team a way to contextualize and measure the impact of all the work we do to drive engagement & retention across our user base.

Don't skimp on your product analytics solution -- unless you enjoy being left in the dust by your competition.
Extremely helpful tool to get quick insights and set dashboards. Missing advanced features.
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to put together a dashboard and share it out. I like being able to share edited versions of a particular chart or dashboard. The custom formulas are great as well but would appreciate more options.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be awesome if users could submit custom queries either via SQL or another UI tool. For example, we want to go above 5 for nTH occurrence. More segmentation options for A/B test charts would be helpful. I would love to see side by side view of two different funnels.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a product analyst, it's nice to provide my PMs with a dashboard that allows them to be self-serving. It also can help with data visualizations as a faster excel.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great supplemental tool to take away tedious work that can come with writing queries.
