It tells where should you start for creating new features and where to improve existing features
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of creating new charts and deep diving into any data very quickly and easily. Also, the variety of charts, be it funnel, segmentation and retention charts. Also, I love the extension of amplitude, it takes my reliance off bugging developers for asking which events are assigned.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not on the platform itself, sometimes the events get stuck on our website and are not sent which kinda questions the reliability of the data. I really love the User Paths but it always tells me that the chart is pruned. Also, I want a pie chart for more than user segmentation like I want to compare the distribution of my events. For example, how many users clicked on a button grouped by their Login method in a pie chart that gives me the percentage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropoffs and realizing if assumptions went right or not. In a corporate world, everybody is right until data shows up. So, it helps in proving assumptions and hypothesis right or wrong. We have started A/B tests and it is working wonders as well in decision making. For improving current features, it helps to make data driven decisions.

What do you like best about the product?
1) Easy to get started if the event structuring is done right
2) We rely heavily on standard dashboards for org-wide sharing of key product metrics. Having such a ready-reference dashboard has been a lifesaver.

What do you dislike about the product?
1) You really need to get the event structure & taxonomy right is critical. Not just an Amplitude issue, applies to other such systems as well.
2) It is easy to get lost in heaps of graphs (good & bad!)
3) While Amplitude talks about NSM it would be nice to have a way of defining the key product themes/strategies and tying NSM dashboard mapped to these themes & strategies.
4) Pricing, Licensing & feature-set: compared with Mixpanel & Clevertap this is an expensive product and doesn't have the same full-stack of features for eg A/B is separate, sending in-journey messages to user is separate.

1) All product metrics are now centralized, we run board meetings powered by Amplitude dashboards
2) PMs who own specific themes rely on Amplitude for tracking the impact & progress of their work
3) This is our go-to tool for "data-backed" decisions & routinely pull this up in product & engg review meetings.

Amplitude is incredibly helpful in product analytics

Convenient and beautiful interface, many different functions and charts, constant updates

Need more interface for storytelling (text field)

Quickly and easily track what events come and their dynamics for any time period

What do you like best about the product?
User friendly and very easy to get going. Also has great functionality to answer all needed questions. Amplitude has helped our teams in issues of growth, marketing, sales, and product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Building dashboards isn't as flexible as it can be. Added dashboard functionality would greatly improve user experience. Adding better filter optionality, more flexibility in chart allocation in dashboards would all be benificial additions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work on selling ad inventory, Amplitude has helped keep track of all inventory and focus on problem solving. Additionally, I have used amplitude to look into traffic to our B2B arm.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Amplitude is an easy-to-use and innovative platform. It will support your company in most, if not all, aspects of the business.
Great tool to make data driven decisions, some basic statistical tools are missing.

Easy to make charts for everyone. Easy to track data. Structure is well made. Governing data is also very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Basic statistical questions are often hard to answer. Making calculations with data is only very basic. Requiring us to use other tools ti make such data queries.

Maily product questions. We can run ab experiments and track user behaviour throughout our apps.

What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of how data is can be retrieved its an amazing tool & really aids in productivity
What do you dislike about the product?
You need to master the events and properties until you know which input is throwing the correct data. A cheat sheet for beginners to understand the use cases of various events/properties should be provided.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Identifying reach, user tends, audience insights, ad inventory; most of it is getting solved through amplitude.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Understand your events & properties implemented by your business correctly once you have this information sorted. The software is highly intuitive, and the possibilities of used cases are endless.
Amazing Analytics - I cannot live without anymore
What do you like best about the product?
Using Amplitude is easy yet very powerful. I mostly use it to understand user behavior, monitor retention and revenue metrics in A/B-tests, and see drop-out points in funnels. It's hard to say what I like best, as it's the combination of UX and features that makes it such charming to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I want to be able to add platform-specific annotations. Our company is working on iOS and Android apps, and it would be nice to filter annotations by platform segmentation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My core focus is to drive retention and revenue. Using Amplitude, especially for AB-testing, helps us to increase both of these metrics with confidence.
Another problem we use Amplitude for is identifying translation issues (our app supports ten languages). Funnel analysis with app language segmentation allows us to spot localization issues easily.

If you want to make data-driven decisions, you need analytics that you can trust. Amplitude is the best tool I have used in my career and I would recommend it to anyone that has the need to understand their users better.
Creating Your Analytics Tool In House is Waste of Time
What do you like best about the product?
We enabled every team member in the team to easily track the charts about their OKRs by Amplitude. There is no effort to educate people, no confusion between the team members. Our product/Data team creates the charts and all team members can create dashboards for their squad and track daily basis. Creating Your Analytics tool In house is waste of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the chart types such as compass, personas, etc. are hard to manage. There is a house effort to understand and educate the team members to use it effectively. Sometimes the data may be meaningless when you use those types of charts. Those chart types can be made easier to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Enabled all team members to use Amplitude
- Events can be easily managed in the dashboard
- We get rid of lots of efforts to create an analytics dashboard on our own.

It's a good analysis tool
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of creation charts , data lookup and the insights capability
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing in particular, it'd have been great if there were more integrations.

We are solving various user behavioural problems and getting some great output from the analysis
Best user friendly product analytics tool
What do you like best about the product?
It's straightforward to use, and you don't need a lot of time to master the tool as you can create a complex report without having the SQL knowledge. Hence, many people, even with low technical background, can use it. Also, you can share the insights quickly with your team using their notebook feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is a rare scenario, but sometimes you can't get too creative, and you´re limited to the amplitude features, but it will affect you if you want to do some crazy thing.

I am using Amplitude for all kinds of analysis from tracking the daily KPIs to analyzing the impact of new features or the engagement.
