It has features that I need, it's definetely easy to use
What do you dislike about the product?
It's difficult to navigate through the entire flow

The graph and the data visualization is easy
Blazing fast answers
What do you like best about the product?
As a product analyst, I love that Amplitude is so similar to SQL in its UI. The idea of grouping things together, adding filters, creating funnels is quick to grasp and implement.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have a bias due to using SQL extensively, but I'd love to be able to join several events together using different fields than the default one rather easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Amplitude to quickly validate our hypotheses. We do this quite a lot and Amplitude is simply the fastest way to do it. Otherwise we'd have to write SQL scripts to extract data - which would be a time-consuming exercise.
Clean user interface and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to create multiple reports for language segmentation, providing good insights on top performing content by market. I use this on a bi-weekly basis to influence what should be used in advertising to promote our brand.
What do you dislike about the product?
Filtering is slightly clunky and pulls random URL strings
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Expansion into global markets
Reliable and scalable analytics I keep returning to
What do you like best about the product?
I'm a product manager at a startup and have tried several analytics tools over the years. Amplitude is the one I keep coming back to — I’m now implementing it for the third startup I’ve worked with. I was able to set it up from scratch each time, and it consistently proves to be powerful, flexible, and indispensable for understanding user behavior and driving product decisions.
What do you dislike about the product?
User attribution can be difficult to manage, especially when trying to track users across sessions or devices. But in fairness, this is a limitation I’ve encountered in all analytics tools, not just Amplitude.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude helps me deeply understand user behavior across the product — where users drop off, which features drive engagement, and what actions correlate with retention. This enables our team to prioritize the right features, improve onboarding, and increase activation rates. Without it, we’d be making product decisions in the dark.
Amplitude is a powerful analytics tool
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to build funnels, cohorts, retention charts, and path analyses, without needing to code. It also allows to create collaborative dashboards.
What do you dislike about the product?
This isn't something I dislike, but it's important to highligh that there is a learning curve for users who aren't afamiliar with analytics concepts or event-based data models.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Amplitude we're able to analyze data about the digital products, identify drop-off points and measure retention.
Good analytics to make proper corrections
What do you like best about the product?
Session replays (you have chance not only recheck visited pages but get more detailed information)
What do you dislike about the product?
It is rather difficult to say so as we have not to much time to discover dislike points
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we give actual information to improve our content
Super quick to navigate through once you get a hang of it.
What do you like best about the product?
As a busy engineer, I like that the learning curve is not much and almost straightforward with Amplitude to get the product analytics that I want for the features that I care about.
What do you dislike about the product?
The taxonomy needs to be finalised and meticulously thought about. Often, we forget to add more events. I would love if it could have some form of automatic instrumentation, like DataDog's Synthetic RUM sessions do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It lets me plot graphs of queries that I want and compare how the users are engaging with the features we have shipped.
Very good
What do you like best about the product?
Does a good job of making it easy to find suitable insights
What do you dislike about the product?
The price is quite high, it makes it hard to keep the tool compared to cheaper alternatives
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps in my understanding of user journeys through our apps and products
Powerful Analytics with Minor Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
What I love most about Amplitude Analytics is how easy it is to use while still giving us powerful insights. The way it lets us track user journeys and analyze cohorts has been a game-changer for understanding our customers' behavior. I'm constantly impressed by the retention analysis tools - they've helped us figure out which features keep users coming back. Being able to create our custom events without bugging our engineers every time is such a relief! And I appreciate how simple it is to share findings with other teams, which has helped us make better decisions across the board.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I don't have major complaints about Amplitude Analytics. If I had to mention something, I'd say it could be a bit more beginner-friendly for new team members - there's a learning curve at first. I also wish their mobile app experience was more robust, as I often need to check metrics on the go.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude Analytics has been instrumental for me by helping us identify where users drop off in our funnel and understand our conversion paths. We're now able to effectively track performance of new features, create meaningful user cohorts, and analyze conversion rates across different segments. The ability to build custom dashboards and easily share insights with our sales and product teams has transformed how we make decisions. Everyone can now access the data they need, which has helped us align our efforts toward improving the language learning experience based on actual student behavior rather than assumptions.
Customer Insights and Analysis
What do you like best about the product?
We use amplitude in our Customer Success org for monitoring customer usage, getting actionable insights, and unlocking a more proactive approach should we detect something, whether good or bad.
What do you dislike about the product?
Theres a bit of a learning curve to getting up and running and starting to extract value. Some of this is tied to your underlying data infrastructure, but theres definitely a little more education and training than I would prefer, this has hindered wider adoption.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude gives the Customer Success team, and a broader group of stakeholders a view into what actions customers are or arent taking on our platform, and serves as a valuable platform for sharing insights through dashboarding, and exported reports.
