What do you dislike about the product?
To be honest, there isn't much to dislike it hard to find events that happen more than one time.
when you are not sure the event name it hard to find it.
it hard to define X time event but ignore back events.
sometime it hard to deiffine grop of event as one and let users see this first

Great product for parsing your product's data but with learning curve
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Amplitude allows anyone on my team to validate assumptions with data very quickly. The Amplitude tools for creating charts, breaking cohorts down, looking at behavior and then sharing that with the team are what make this product shine.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool is unlike other analytics tools I've used. There is a decent sunk cost to setup, but it's developer friendly. When we add events to our product to be triggered, we are able to get charts and data up on Amplitude quickly. However, the product may take a while to learn for the business and marketing teams as it's a tad more technical than say Google Analytics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted to solve the problem of looking at specific user behavior and trends in our sales funnel. We realized that we could build multiple funnels for different cohorts of people, or multiple funnels for different campaigns. We are able to get a little bit closer to solving the "Attribution" problem of discovering which touch points in the funnel and channels convert best.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try different analytics tools before jumping on any one. It's a big undertaking and difficult to change tools with high switching costs. However, Amplitude has been great for our business and we're only making bigger and better decisions because of it
Great for mobile analytics

Nice analytics webapp
What do you like best about the product?
That all the events in amplitude is fully customizable, no pre-constructed nothing you decide what is important to measure, I like the chrome add-on that amplitude has, for integration propose works very well.
What do you dislike about the product?
To no many explanations on the type of graphics that are in the tool, define the question of what metrics or answers want to respond is not an easy process, a wizard on the toll will help a lot.
Not understand to much My dashboard graphics I don't now what is the interaction of the graphics there and the graphics that my collects see.
The integration with Google Tag Manager is not good, we spend many hours try to integrate amplitude with GTM and never works the way that we want.

Product Analytics Demsytified
What do you like best about the product?
Different views to solve for most usecase
What do you dislike about the product?
Ability to make a table in simpler way as I'd want a dump to run my pivots
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Analyzing funnels, ability to extrat more info and behaviour of usage.
Pretty good once you get used to it's way of thinking
What do you like best about the product?
Once you get used to it very fast to analyse new problems.
What do you dislike about the product?
You have to frame your mind as Amplitude thinks about the problem. Not a flexible tool, but that's what makes it user friendly because they are opinionaated about how you use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Engagement, feature retention
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Know you can't easily export. Store your metrics in an intermediary so you can query them directly seperately.
A comprehensive data analytics tool
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude offers a lot of in-depth data analysis features but showcases them in an easy to use way. The wide array of tools make it very easy to gain business insight from all kinds of data. It's also very customizable, we are indexing our own events from our app and can add our own properties to filter off of.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing comes to mind, of course they will think of features to make it better but I can't point an area of weakness yet. I guess the time taken to move between the site could be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are gaining insight into user behaviour, retention and overall growth. It helps us make business decisions on which paths to pursue and which to drop.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think improving the speed of the site would help greatly. Right now it is the biggest bottleneck in terms of workflow. Optimizing the site for speed in the creation and also viewing of charts and data alike. Aside from that, we did find the timeliness of the data did matter as well. Being able to see more instant funnel conversion data would be of great help.

Great choice when it comes to Product Analytics for an early stage start up
What do you like best about the product?
First off, the free plan has more than enough to get started and set up your product analytics. + our application for a scholarship plan was accepted which gave us access to the full platform for a year.
Some of the features make analysis a piece of cake. For example: you can do cohort analysis and retention analysis in a couple of clicks and the insights are great + easy to consume.
You don't need to be familiar with the tool to get started with it. My colleagues can come in and check the dashboards.

What do you dislike about the product?
You need at least one person to manage the workspace and make sure everything is up to date. Might not be a problem in a bigger organization but for a smaller org, you need someone who will make sure Amplitude events are part of every feature release and are being tracked correctly.
Sometimes, I feel limited by the charts customization options. Maybe some new charts are due?

Recommendations to others considering the product:
I'd recommend Amplitude Analytics to the early-stage startups who are trying to set up product analytics. It will definitely make it easier to stay on top of your product and the implementation is not hard at all. Just make sure you have got some individuals on your team who can take ownership of implementing and maintaining Amplitude.
