Celonis is a modern feature for process minning
What do you like best about the product?
Celonis has an easy interface to select the views of process, offering insights that improve the work done
What do you dislike about the product?
It is needed to have technical knowledge of tables from ERP system to connect
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With the process view from Celonis we are turning the comunication between procurement, tax and accounts payable area more fluid
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use the process minning view to improve process knowledgement between areas. It makes easy communcation and decision when they see how they are connected

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy that Celonis offers quick and seemingly simple views, into complex processes. It also simplifies data pulls and analysis on large amounts of SAP data, which has proving challenging for our business in the past.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limitation of on prem versus cloud functionality. Often, there are new capabilities rolled out and pushed, but never for on prem customer like ourselves.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OTC - Process efficiencies have been identified within the order to cash model including but not limited to, block removals and order entry automation opportunities. We have realized over $250k in type 2 savings ( cost avoidance, labor savings)
Supply Chain (P2P, OBL, Excess and Obsolete) - Identified opportunities to apply differing minimum order policies based on ordering patterns in size and frequency across a variety of business segments and regions. In the manufacturing space we were able to quickly drill down to our internal raw material ordering patterns, which helped to identify opportunities to "buy bigger". Opportunities in supply chain can be quantified in the Millions.

If an option I would suggest the IBC Celonis version to avoid later migration or issues with limited functionality.

What do you like best about the product?
- the speed on how we have implemented a MVP and then rolled it out to in depth analytics

- the licensing modell is somewhat inflexible

- we have started by analyzing and improving the cancellation rate of customer orders in our OmniChannel processes e.g. Click & Reserve / Click & Collect
- then we have optimized the returns handling time in our O2C logistics

- have always in mind that optimizing processes is 90% change management 9% analysis and 1% tool
A powerful tool to get deepest insights to processes and bring value
What do you like best about the product?
User friendly front end, ease of use and navigation. We were able to deploy the solution with ease. Lots of functionalities and ability to connect to various IT systems makes it a very powerful tool. We get an end to end visibility of the entire process which very unique and no other technology has the ability to show a clear picture of the process this way. Once we have the data model set up for a process, we can just play around with different KPIs and start to analyze the process through various dimensions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The app store could have been more helpful to give a process selection guidelines.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. We have pointed out huge compliance issues in one of our biggest process - Purchase to Pay. We have defined specific KPIs to monitor and control those going forward.
2. Cash Management - bridging the gaps between the operational and financial world. We have been working on identifying cash recoveries for the company using Celonis.

Very powerful and can bring in lot of value to organizations having a large data footprint. Can be utilized to identify process anomalies.

i created conformance checks over all our process models with python and was able to identify the best performing and least performing processes which i have to adjust.

The visualization of the process flow in combination with business intelligence information helps managers, operational staff and process experts alike to understand the processes better and find inefficiencies.

New functionalities only available in the cloud

We are visualizing different processes with Celonis and uncover potential process weaknesses and then take according measures to have a more efficient process.

This is an amazing tool which an help to identify all the frictions at a centralized place and can take actions proactively with the help of action engine alerts, I would strongly recommend people to use this tool and realize the complete Value Potential from it.........................................

transparency on the as is processes based on the event file from you workflow and ERP Tools.

more options for visualisation would be great, a lot of use cases are hard to implement as the we do not look at standard processes

We included our custome processes wich makes it difficult because you cannot gain alot from other companies experiences. you have to build everything from scratch and cannot go back to standard templates celonis already has in their library. this is realy a pitfall or a USP if you look for your standard accounting processes and dont want to look into your custom processes.

process transparency incl. efficiency, we just implemented celonis with our work flow management tool, so that we did not gain many insights yet. we already got a great transparency that has been scattered across different applications before and needed a lot of manual rework to put it together for the transparency we needed. we are looking forward to realize the full potential of celonis soon.

Celonis enables you the most detailed information possibles
What do you like best about the product?
Celonis provides you a massive processmining tool. The great thing here is that you might start with a specific topic but gain much more knowledge than expected. The detailed information is huge.

The implementation to get the tool properly running takes some time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are process mining the purchase to pay process. It give us an intral view from the company internal customers over to the procurement department to the accounting department.
It allows us to see which purchasing processes are running bad and where inefficiencies exist

What do you like best about the product?
The easy data connection to the source systems. The speed of the software. The vizualization of big data. The app store that is bringing new ideas and pre-defined data mining solutions to your attention.
What do you dislike about the product?
The X-functional competencies of Celonis consultants and their understanding of business processes. The team structure in implementation projects as no different levels of seniority are present in the team. Further, there seems to be no quality assurance process that guarantees the correctness and completeness of customized scripts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have visibility on our as is processes. We were able to identify several areas for improvement in the form of direct savings and potential process improvement and efficiency measures.
