Market Leading Process Mining Solution
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to spin up and create new process models. Great visualisation capability with Studio and Views. The Action Engine and Action Flow functionality makes Celonis unique and allows us to monitor inflight processes really well.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can sometimes be really tricky to certain charts that would be very easy to create in Tableau or Spotfire. It would also be nice to have functionality to be able to easily format components on a page (e.g. snap to grid, align etc.). We also get ad-hoc errors when loading our data models in Celonis which are often hard to understand the root cause of which can be frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a process mining centre of excellence in our company and use Celonis across all parts of the business. We have worked with Finance, HR, Procurement, Ops and R&D. We are able to very quickly shine a light on how processes are being conducted and identify areas of non-compliance with the process and variant explorers and selection filters. We have also been using Celonis' CVA's to help us derive insights and value from the process models we have built. This has been really useful in helping us come up with tangible benefit calculations.

What do you like best about the product?
Over the past year, I got the chance to work on a Celonis kick-off implementation. The Software is very flexible and user-friendly. I received beneficial Celonis expert advice from Rei Otsuki. She was always there to support and guide us in the right direction.
What do you dislike about the product?
It will be great if Celonis can improve their concept for one-time data extracts. Although this is not the real power of the software, it will be beneficial to have an easy to handle one-time data extract process. That will definitely have a positive effect when proofing a value.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We in Atos are just starting to implement process mining. The project's primary focus is to improve our internal processes for the key Domains O2C, P2P, P2O. No realized benefits yet.

What do you like best about the product?
It is intuitive; the user gets an excellent interface, it is versatile and can be used either for process monitoring, standard template adherence, KPI reporting or more, we are only scratching the surface.
What do you dislike about the product?
Data consumption is hard to keep track of, need to spend more time than advertised actually to connect, and this is hard to explain to senior stakeholders after advertising how quickly the software connects via existing standard connectors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
KPI Automation and Process conformance, use cases include First time Pass rate for POs, Reduce retrospective POs, Working Capital dashboards for Order To Cash and Requisition to Pay, Reduce Spare parts lead time and delivery accuracy with global suppliers.

Recommend to start small, get senior stakeholders to support the initiative, demonstrate value and scale.

What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a lot of effort and time to set up the process model properly. But once the model stands, you will quickly see results. In addition, it can be quiet hard to bring the tool in an operational use on a daily basis. Creating new roles within the organization and building up know-how can be difficult and requires strong support from the management. Therefore, Celonis is willing to help in the internal communication and does advise when it comes to setting up a process mining organization within a company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are analyzing the accounts payable process with Celonis to improve our productivity, cut costs and make sure that our processes are compliant with external and internal requirements.
A great technology that can do wonders in the right hands
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive user interface, standout functionality when compared to other process mining solutions. Extremely versatile vis-a-vis it solutions for data extraction and automation of internal and external business functions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some bugs have been reported by myself and others for YEARS and are still in the software. Fast paced development leaves its traces in the form of strange bugs or lack of functionality, that stand in stark contrast with the otherwise polished product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Process inefficiencies of any kind can be analyzed and abated, only limited by creativity and the willingness to actually change inefficient processes. Benefits can range from faster, more efficient and smoother processes to happier customers, to large amounts of savings. All dependent on the process.

What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility of the dashboards makes "what if" discussions more productive. Celonis has enabled us to take a deeper dive into our processes and related data and find efficiencies hidden in our old, static reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of our process flows have so many variables that it is difficult to identify the bottlenecks, even with Celonis process mapping.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the first six months, we've made business cases for several process automations using the Celonis process insights to justify the change. The process automations implemented are saving 200 hours of labor a month, and we expect to double that in the next six months.

Process workflows needs to be designed more detailed. This part is a very critical one business elevation

It not only indicates the outliers in the process but also provides a detailed root cause analysis which helps to remove the bottleneck

I don't see any downsides in the tool. The tool has been very planned and executed to cover almost alll the scenarios.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We face lot of challenges in our P2P proces. Delayed/late payments was one of them which led to bitter supplier experience. With Celonis, it was identified that the invoice which was not sent on time was one of the major reason and we were quickly able to address the issue
A critical tool for any GBS / Shared Service Organisation
What do you like best about the product?
Execution Apps- They are pre-built modules available in Celonis for various domanins like Procurement, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable etc. They allow us to deploy and customise solutions for any organisation. It allows us to benchmark ourselves with the industry leaders by tracking prebuilt KPI with set benchmarks. We could also define additional KPI's for the same. The apps actively monitors the various activities defined within the process and generates insights and action for users . This is powered by machine learning algorithms. This tranforms the way users operate from a reactive mode to a proactive mode.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel the Dashboarding, and the PQL is not very user-friendly. It is not as convenient as Power Bi, wherein you can establish a data relationship easily. and create dahsboards in a plug and play mode.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I primarily identify the Key KPI's that are required to be tracked and build dashboards for GIC's/GBS to monitor and track performance. Also, we use Celonis Execution apps on top of the existing workflow to generate insights and user actions. Also, we use Celonis to discover opportunities for automation and process improvement.
