Appian is the best lowcode environment and its easy to learn ,and day by day appian is growing day by day, improving alott by doing update the new version ,its easy to learn update our selfs as well
What do you dislike about the product?
while updating the APPIAN environment its kind maintainace issue with depricated plugins.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Banking and insurence project mostly it will help alot .
Powerful tool but less resources
What do you like best about the product?
We can easily depict the shared buisness requirements and come up with a solution easily. Also we can pace up the development with its built-in functions and smart services.
What do you dislike about the product?
Yet it is a powerful tool. The training regime is quite limited to the basics which cannot be used in designing effective solutions for the clients. Also for large data as a developer we always face trouble which in turn reduces the value of the tool itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently we are majorly working on making the banking and CRM experience automated as much as possible. It has exponentially reduced the development time and also increased the productivity exponentially.
The Appain is user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to understand. Less coding is uesd.
What do you dislike about the product?
if your system is Required to process bulk data, Appian is not necessarily the ideal tool for doing
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Appian is built to enable speed and power but to successfully unlock the full benefits. Teams need to approach the development process
Recommendations to others considering the product:
no
Powerful but not for all the cases
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that you are able to easily implement your solution if you follow the Appian guidelines.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you want to implement any custom functionality, it's very complex to write the code for a simple operation that you would do super smoothly in any other programming language.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The project is about integration and visualization of data and enabling the managing of hyperautomation processes (so related to the RPA field).
Recommendations to others considering the product:
So in general I think, as I already mentioned that if you want to use this platform for what it's meant to, it's really simple to use and you can accomplish your goal. You can define the data model and the interfaces through which you can access and manipulate the data. I like the fact that you can use the application both in desktop mode and mobile in a native way without worrying about layouts, scaling and things like that.
The approach is low code, and actually it's true, but I think this is also kinda limited. I don't think there is the perfect platform for accomplishing everything you need, in fact in many cases we needed to implement some custom functionality and it was a mess (and still is). The programming code is completely custom and I never saw something so tricky to do even the basic operation like casting, looping, assigning variables and so on.
So I stick to the title of my review.

Low Code
What do you like best about the product?
I like the efficiency of low code and looking forward to exploring the RPA solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are still some limitations in layout options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using it for traditional websites. One of the benefits is the mobile web app will be automatically developed along with the website without extra effort.
Good Platform to handle return to office
What do you like best about the product?
Low Code , Intuitive and Visually Appealing
What do you dislike about the product?
Few features are less when compared to the market leader. Few platforms are even more low-code
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating a platform to handle back to the office scenario
Appian - A Great Low-Code Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Appian is a great tool that enables businesses to create and deploy applications on very short timeframes. They excel in Agile frameworks where applications are continuously improved. Appian also has great support for when you need help with your cloud environments.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Appian's OOTB UI elements are great, sometimes you want to do a little more with them that you can't.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have created multiple patient engagement solutions in the healthcare space. Appian makes it easy to integrate with and pull in data all into one place to make it easier for providers in their day to day life.
Appian is an effective and reliable workflow tool.
What do you like best about the product?
Appian Documentation is thorough.
Compare and deploy means that deployments are simplified and avoid error.
Appian support teams.
Its easy to use
It has great product vision
Integration is generally easy
Develop once and can get multi-channel delivery i.e. Recyclable Objects
Easy to get non-technical people up to speed.

What do you dislike about the product?
Limited UI options e.g. 5 tabs across the top.
Integrations can be difficult.
Debugging can be difficult as error messages are not always detailed enough.
Support is hard to get for individual freelancers and small company business partners.
There is a data export limit to excel that inhibits growth. Additionally, the flexibility between desktop and mobile development can sometimes limit specific development toward one platform.

Quickly implementing an approval process for form submission.
Email mailbox integration with a Microsoft Graph API.
Appian was offering a pre-build solution that we could easily customize to meet our specific purposes.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
The low-code environment is not complicated. Most technical people with a little development experience can be productive in the tool in a short period of time.
LOW-CODE PROG, THE BEST WAY TO DIGITALIZE YOUR LIFE
What do you like best about the product?
We can develop apps and tools much faster and deploy them incredibly fast. In this way, we can digitalize our company and standardize data inputs to optimize and enhance data-driven decisions.
These are some detailed examples of things that Appian does particularly well:
- The culture of data decentralization in millions of files is to end with Appian apps.
- Company processes tracking is enabled with Appian solutions.
- Interactive reports to analyse business data.
- Web page to centralize communication with users, incidents, resources, etc.

What do you dislike about the product?
These are some detailed examples of things that Appian does not do particularly well:
- The standard cloud database still has a little bit unfriendly interface but it is true that we use our own databases.
- Besides, process diagrams and coding interface experience are improvable (there are some process flow functions missed like for or while loops).
- Robot process automations and AI & ML functionalities are improvable in terms of user interface and functionalities.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Appian across the whole organization in order to digitalize all processes and optimize efficiency. Some of the problems we are solving with Appian are data decentralization and process workflow tracking. Creating apps with Appian enables us to give personalized and adaptable solutions to the different departments needs whereas migrating all information from different files to our databases. In addition we can digitalize company processes and track them. At the end, we can analyse both records data and process workflows data to enhance company efficiency.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for an all-in-on software to digitalise your company: that is Appian (BPM's, RPA's, ML, AI, Process tracking, tasks...). You can create almost everything! Sure that you will need a good team of Appian developers to ensure that your digitalization is being done scalable and adaptable to changes.
Quality low-code development landscape
What do you like best about the product?
Drag-and-drop process modeler is good and easy to use. There is automated task managemnt, and the platform overall offers an actual no-code experience. You can also separate it out and provision separate access for regular business users and more technical IT staff with individual processes that integrate together. This enables teams with distinct talent pools to work together on the same platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Fairly expensive and not all the workflows are obviously intuitive. Thats not to take away from the the value though - you often get what you pay for and also they offer a free trial so no commit to buy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem is that not all of the folks on the application side have deep technical experience. Having a code free experience lends value, but you will need folks with the requisite knowqledge to be able to build the objects and enables integrations, etc. etc.
