Low code, modular design, quick to adapt, Lots of support, citizen development, AI, RPA, perfect for workflow and case solutions.

Some enhancements still required, example no native support for Kafka, DAST scans, data segregation.

Modernization of business processes & centralized rules implementation.
APPIAN is great but takes some time to get used too.
What do you like best about the product?
The documentation is really good and the APPIAN community is awesome and always willing to help. The application is easy to use and provides documentation inside the application itself. The deployment tool makes implementation easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
No formal source control like GIT this causes some delays in development when working in larger teams.

We were looking at replacing an old application that is essential to our day to day and wanted something that allows for agile developlment and looks modern.

What do you dislike about the product?
The need to make adjustments to your code to be able to make it mobile reactive. Also the issue of not being able to inject custom code using java script

We are a fund management service and Appian is used for onboarding different customers and funds into our system using Appian's Connected Onboarding Solution

Very hard to integrate with any other automation tool. Impossible to manage configuration via api. Loads of overhead to run on prem

Appian enables users to swiftly bring their ideas to fruition, resulting in a faster time-to-market for software solutions. This agility is crucial in today's dynamic business environment.
Appian also excels process automation, streamlining complex business workflows. Im my opinion, this capability enhances operational efficiency by automating repetitive tasks and ensuring a smoother flow of processes. This not only saves time but also reduces the likelihood of errors in critical business operations.

What do you dislike about the product?
Cost: Some of my clients have expressed concerns about the cost of Appian, stating that it might be on the higher side compared to other low-code platforms.
Limited Customization in UI: Although Appian offers tools for designing user interfaces, some of my clientes have mentioned limitations in terms of highly customized and intricate UI designs. Depending on specific design requirements, users may find the options somewhat restrictive.
