Powerful, Scalable, and Easy-to-Use Data Platform
What do you like best about the product?
What I love about Snowflake is how quickly it made working with large datasets feel effortless. I’ve run queries on billions of rows and still got results in seconds. The way it separates storage and compute means I can scale up for heavy workloads without overpaying when things are quiet. The interface feels familiar for anyone who knows SQL. I also appreciate how easy it is to share data securely with partners without the usual back-and-forth of exporting files.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main challenge I’ve faced is keeping compute costs in check. If you’re not careful with warehouse sizes or forgetting to suspend them, the bill can surprise you
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’m currently using Snowflake as a central data warehouse while working with multiple datasets for proof-of-concepts (POCs) for my client. It allows me to quickly load, clean, and query large volumes of data without worrying about infrastructure setup or scaling. This flexibility helps me experiment with different data models and run complex queries efficiently, which speeds up POC delivery and decision-making for my client.
Snowflake
What do you like best about the product?
One thing I really appreciate about Snowflake is how hassle-free it makes data integration from all sorts of sources. I’ve worked with other data platforms before, and I remember how much time was wasted on ETL jobs and infrastructure management. With Snowflake, you can spin up resources quickly and just focus on writing queries.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a new user, I found Snowflake a bit confusing at first—especially the pricing model and setting up user roles. The interface is clean but can feel a little overwhelming when you're just getting started.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Snowflake makes it way easier to bring together data from different places and work with it all in one spot. I don’t have to worry about setting up hardware or dealing with slow performance when more people are using it. It saves me time and lets me focus on actually analyzing data instead of spending hours just trying to get things to work.

On a scale where ten is a perfect solution and one is absolutely useless, I would rate Snowflake Data Cloud an eight out of ten.
Game-Changer for Data Warehousing and Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Snowflake separates compute and storage, so we can scale them independently. It’s made handling unpredictable workloads so much more efficient and cost-effective. The performance is excellent — queries that used to take minutes now run in seconds. I also appreciate the straightforward SQL interface and the ease of sharing data securely across teams and partners. Overall, it’s just a powerful, user-friendly platform that’s dramatically improved our data operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Snowflake is incredibly powerful, its pricing model can be hard to predict at times, especially for teams without tight governance on compute usage. It’s easy for costs to creep up if queries aren’t well optimized. I’ve also found that some advanced administration or tuning features require more of a learning curve. But overall, these are minor compared to the value we get from the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We primarily use Snowflake as our cloud data warehouse to centralize all our business data. It serves as the backbone for reporting, dashboarding, and advanced analytics. We run ETL pipelines to transform raw data into analytics-ready datasets, and our BI tools connect directly to Snowflake for live querying. We also use it to share data securely with partners and other departments, and to support machine learning workloads by providing a single, scalable source of truth.
While expensive, Snowflake is the most full-featured, flexible, easy-to-use DBaaS on the market!
What do you like best about the product?
Incredibly easy to use. Little DB admin work is ever necessary.
Ability to scale your compute needs instantaneously.
Integrates with a massive list of 3rd party tools. Virtually every SaaS product that can integrate with a DB has a native Snowflake integration.
Huge ecosystem of ready-to-serve 3rd party data sources.
What do you dislike about the product?
Snowflake is expensive.
It would be helpful if Snowflake integrated AI into the database more to help laypeople with performance tuning, query optimization, warehouse & cost management, etc. An inexperienced user can easy blow a lot of cash in Snowflake - without even realizing it - until the bills come due.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I run BI for my company and play a big role in data ops as well. Snowflake serves 3 major purposes for me:
1. It is our BI data warehouse. We ingest all our data to Snowflake and present it in Looker (which integrates natively with snowflake)
2. It is our data lake. In addition to ingesting just about any data we can into Snowflake, we use DBT to munge all the data together to produce final tables that we then push out to our 3rd party SaaS apps (e.g. Salesforce, Hubspot, Appcues, Customer.io, Zapier, Python/NodeJS services).
3. It serves as a low-volume transactional DB. Tools like Zapier, Pipedream, and Python/NodeJS services use Snowflake to push & pull transactional data where necessary.
Great data cloud platform for dev teams and analytics!
What do you like best about the product?
We love how it separates storage and compute so we can scale with client project needs. Queries run fast even on large tables and we can spin up new warehouses in minutes This flexibility works well when we need to test new features or run analytics without worrying about infrastructure limits
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI could be simpler for new team members rest i dont have complaints about.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before we used Snowflake we struggled with slow queries and data siloing across environments. Now we can centralize log data ETL builds and client reports in one place. It helps our devs and data analysts collaborate more effectively and speeds up delivery.
