I've been using Snowflake for more then 5 years and very satisfy for their service
What do you like best about the product?
It is fast, has no maintenance and operation around the tool, and has the ability to spin as much a WH you want in a click
What do you dislike about the product?
not supporting yet Python UDF, support some time take some time to reply
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we are using it as our data lake and our DWH for all the business analysis we are performing and creating reports and dashboards on top of table stored in Snowflake

go for it, it is the best out in the market
I have a large data set having very slow performance on lot of databases it solved on snowflake.

Snowflake is very easy to use and scale-out.
I have seen my employer get miraculous insights into its Digital Supply Chain data.
Its seamless and secured integration with ready-to-use adapters with ERP like SAP makes it yet more demanding.
The dashboard and customizations are very handy and data warehousing becomes a cakewalk with proper implementation on Snowflake.

What do you dislike about the product?
Costing can be a concern for large organizations as other providers like Azure, AWS, or GCP can provide cost-effective platforms with their offerings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of my previous company which majorly dealt with the sale of consumer electronics, faced an acute challenge of dead stock and monitoring its delivery and returns KPI. With the help of data warehousing solutions on Snowflake, we achieved a significant leap through in these areas. There was a month-on-month improvement seen in the supply chain KPIs.
Speed, flexibility and ease
What do you like best about the product?
The fact storage and processing power are separated is so powerful, the cloning and time travel features are incredibly useful also.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI could do with improving, however there are tools like DBeaver that sit on top that solve this issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Migrating on prem SQLServer to the cloud, this has sped up all queries as storage isn't slowing them down as well as reducing costs

Current project replaced hive and redshift and introducing Snowflake.

What do you like best about the product?
The maintenance of the Data Warehouse is done by snowflake itself, yiu no longer need admins to apply patches and perform upgrades
What do you dislike about the product?
No primary key and foreign key concept, that could be a real bummer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its basically a managed data warehouse in the cloud, so its used as a data warehouse where dta is flown in from multiple systems, its fast always available and simple to use.

Snowflake is part of the modern BI stack, there are lot of inbuilt functionalities that makes complex data warehousing problems simple

The UI can be little more better compared with other warehousing tools such as Redshift , bigquery
