There are minor glitches with nautilus. It occasinally slows down and throws an error. The ubuntu software centre is not upto the mark. Many other softwares need to be added into it.
It gives a very poor gaming experience.
Games on Steam too don't fare very well, there are constant frame drops and stutters. Ubuntu really needs to improve upon these fronts.

People often say that Ubuntu is not suitable for day to day use as it is very "ENGINEERED", but I disagree with all thosse people.
Ubuntu is very much capable of handling everything "Windows" can do. Though it might appear daunting at first, Ubuntu handles all your needs perfectly. It has support for nVidea GPu as well and even steam games run flawlessly on it, so it is the way to g. It is free of cost and much better than all the other pricey operating systems out there in the market.
