Ubuntu 14.04 LTS review
What do you like best about the product?
For anybody used to or essentially desirous of the Mac's OS X interface, utilizing Ubuntu is a breeze. In any case, significantly for marooned Windows clients with as yet working equipment, Ubuntu will offer an essence of genuine 21st century work area registering, with a free, open and about without cost elective that possesses a great deal of security and support. The interface is spotless, open and satiny in task.
What do you dislike about the product?
Canonical cases that their application is right around a total arrangement, however they are in reality a long way from it. From an apprentice's perspective, Ubuntu Programming Center may appear to be finished, yet it does not have a considerable measure of highlights, also straightforwardness.
For instance, when installing a .deb it doesn't demonstrate to you what dependencies it is installing along with it. Perhaps you just got a library you didn't need.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ubuntu is our preferred choice while setting up any new server. Ubuntu makes it very easy for anyone to just spin off a server and install the whole app in just a single click. Installing any app is rather unconventional in Windows and costly in Mac.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Canonical gives you the control through Launchpad, so anybody can download it and use it in their distribution.
In addition, most of the projects additionally give a PPA of Ubuntu Software Center. But this is a nightly build, and may break a few functionalities or two. To do this, Open a terminal and enter the accompanying charges:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:software-store-developers/daily-build
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
Only do this when you are certain with what you want to achieve as downgrading Ubuntu is not an easy path to follow.

Review for Ubuntu
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is very sleek and intuitive. The terminal and command line are also super intuitive and easy to use. It is completely free and the support is good and free. Very stable OS. I use it with Virtual Box on Windows 10 and it is very easy to set up and use.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can run Ubuntu off of a flash drive or install it as a complete operating system. It's a great alternative to other more popular operating systems available, because it runs off the Linux system and seldom allows viruses.
What do you dislike about the product?
The GUI is a bit clunky, and there's a bit of a learning curve, but once you get used to it, Ubuntu works really well! Additionally, Ubuntu does not include all the standard programs one is accustomed to using on Windows, but the ability to add similar programs is improving.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've had my Window OS computer systems freeze up due to issues, viruses, etc. Consequently, I've found it convenient to have a computer with an installed version of Ubuntu, for emergency purposes. Additionally, using a flash drive, I can run Ubuntu from the flash drive without installing it on my affected computer, and use it to find and delete any virus/infected files on the hard drive. It's really amazing!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Ubuntu is easy to use, once you immerse yourself. They have made this OS similar to Windows, but without all the headaches that come with the potential for viruses. If you're looking for a quality OS that, for the most part, will allow you to utilize programs (like Word, pdf documents, spreadsheets, graphic imaging, etc.) similar to what you use on your Windows system, this would make a great option! Oh - and it's FREE!
